    This cake was absolutely delicious and very moist. The cake looked exactly like I imagined it to look. Everyone loved it so much there was hardly any left over! Highly recommend!

    the staff made an appointment for us to have a tasting and consultation the same day we called within a few hours, which was fantastic since we were from out of town. we loved our cake and got several compliments on how delicious it was. we can't wait for our 1st year anniversary to eat some more!

    We ordered 27 centerpiece cakes from Zehnder’s. They are the recommended vendor from The Bavarian Inn Lodge. They did a fabulous job with the cakes and everyone was raving about them all night. Zehnder's butter cream is to die for (in my opinion)!!! All I had to do was give them a picture of what I wanted and they did the rest. Delivery was on time and flawless. I do feel the price was a little higher than a "less popular" bakery, but I was willing to sacrifice that to make sure I got what I wanted and I had all my cakes on time and not "ruined" being I had 30 of them to deliver in all. Zehnders is located right across the street from the Bavarian Inn.

    I also want to add that the wedding cake coordinator, Julie, was very helpful and great to work with. She responded quickly to phone calls and e-mails. The best part was that Julie understood that I was OOT so she did everything she could to make sure I had what I needed with less stress. I just recently contacted her to see if they could recreate one of our wedding cake centerpieces for our 1 year anniversary and she came through. I have pictures posted on our 1 year anniversary page. I appreciate all the work Julie and her staff did and will recommend them to anyone.

    Our original baker went out of business just months before our wedding. Zehnder’s was able to fit us in for a tasting and work with us on matching our original cake idea.

    Zehnder's Bakery was great to work with. We kind of enjoyed our cake tasting experience...It felt kind of rushed....other than that the cake tasted AMAZING! It didn't taste like it was frozen nor was it dry...it was GREAT!!

    They decorated it wonderfully and almost what I was looking for. They didn't scatter the butterflies on the cake how I had wanted them to...but it was still a good looking cake =)

    Instead of cake, my husband and I wanted butterhorns (Zehnder's specialty). They were very accommodating and even suggested ideas for how to present them in a tiered fashion. I was comfortable leaving it in the hands of the bakers and those who arranged the pastries. It was a beautiful and the guests loved it, too.

    The cake is delicious from Zehnder’s. However, I recommend giving them a time frame of about 2 hours for delivery. We were warned from our reception manager and our florist that they usually run late. When we confirmed head count and delivery location we told them they only had a certain time they could get in and it worked out just fine.

    I was so excited to my wedding cake for our big day! After paying over $350 for my cake for only 100 people I was highly disappointed with my cake. It was not at all decorated as I wanted and looked nothing like the picture that I gave the decorator. I will never get a cake from there again for any occasion!
