  Our dream diy wedding

  I cannot share enough positivity about our whole experience. We booked out the place for our whole wedding weekend and had our friends and family stay for the time before and after the wedding. It was a healing space for so many, and the flexibility was amazing in how we chose to decorate! David even put on a fire show for our guests. Unbelievable!

  Exactly what we wanted!

  The Zen Barn was perfect for our small intimate wedding of 22 people total. Everyone who attended was able to stay on the White Lotus Eco Spa property we booked through Airbnb. It was a magical weekend! The property is so beautiful for photography. David and Keith were so helpful and flexible. We were able to make our ceremony and reception exactly what we wanted.

  Beautiful Venue, Excellent Experience

  My husband and I had our wedding at White Lotus in October of 2018 and it was the best decision! It is an absolutely gorgeous venue, very well-maintained, and affordable. David and Keith were always available to help, and went above and beyond to make our wedding exactly what we hoped it would be. White Lotus is in a beautiful secluded location, but is still close to Charlottesville and Skyline Drive. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and beautiful. I would recommend White Lotus very much for a beautiful wedding!

  Incredible wedding at rustic, flexible venue

  My wife and I got married at the White Lotus Zen Barn in August of 2018 and I couldn't recommend the venue enough. We wanted a space that would allow us to do everything ourselves while also offering us assistance when needed. This place was perfect. We brought our own food and drinks, had an outdoor ceremony facing the pond and a reception in the barn that lasted well into the night. David and Keith were extremely helpful in adapting the space to our needs and when the night was over our immediate family was able to stay in the attached suites while our friends camped on the beautiful property outside. Along with the event space you also have access to multiple kitchens, a movie theater, a couple of outdoor fire areas, ponds, a massage room and a wood fire sauna. When the wedding is over you are in the ideal place to unwind and relax.
  
  One note - I would recommend hiring people to help with catering and cleaning since you are just paying for the property itself, and for a larger wedding like ours it was helpful to rent some extra tables, chairs and dinnerware.

  A Charming, Intimate, and Wonderful Retreat

  I hosted a wedding at the Zen Barn for my German cousin, and we had exactly the warm, inviting, and secluded and spacious venue that we were hoping for. David, the owner and host, is such a relaxed and friendly person that we ended up inviting him to join the ceremony. The Zen Barn offers not only several suites where the wedding pair stayed, but numerous other amenities, including a beautiful handmade bar, dining room, movie theater, poker and massage rooms, and more. All set in a gorgeous wooded retreat that we delighted in exploring. Rustic Chique!
