Zen Fox Photography photographed our wedding in 2019. They have incredibly affordable pricing packages and are extremely personable and easy to work with. We met prior to booking them to discuss what we wanted as a couple and details and we immediately felt at ease, like we were talking with two old friends! You can tell they have a passion for what they do the way their eyes light up when discussing ideas for different shots! There are 2 photographers, so I felt that we received more photos from different points of view. It was also nice to have a male and female photographer for the photos when the bride and groom are getting ready in separate areas. We were very happy with the photos Zen Fox took and the entire process. We have recently booked them again for our daughter's senior photos.Zen Fox Photography's reply:

From the moment I found their Facebook page, Justin and Jeanette gave me the ultimate fun couple vibe. Not only did my (now) husband get a great first impression from them, but they were super patient and flexible with their time, allowing us to reschedule more than once when other plans left us running behind. As a couple who have been together for 15 years and photographed together for 8, they were extremely understanding of the mild chaos we experienced during the planning process. Their ability to adapt and keep track of important details was so evident when we ultimately ran behind on our wedding day. We still got the first look moment we’d been dreaming of, all the family shots, and our spunky bridal party pics, thanks to Zen Fox.
During our first and second meetings, Justin and Jeanette asked us lots of thoughtful questions, which really helped me (the DIY bride) narrow down our choices into the style and number of photos we truly wanted. They were enthusiastic and open to lots of ideas, like my Light Academia Pinterest inspo board. At the same time they offered tools–like a pre-typed shot list and itinerary–to guide us through the decision-making process. I had way more confidence each time we met with them. And Justin made it super clear that we could reach out at any time via email or text to ask questions and share information.
Truly Zen Fox was a crucial part of our perfect day. Without them and their incredible sense of time, playfulness, preparedness, and adaptability, I don’t think everything would have gone nearly as smooth. They even ended up on the church roof to get wide shots of our entire extended family together. If you are a DIY bride or think you have “crazy” ideas for a wedding, I highly, highly recommend you get in touch with Justin and Jeanette. Their energy as a couple and their enthusiasm for your dreams will leave you feeling more than a little jazzed.
We, our friends, and our family adore the photos, and I only wish I had a reason to work with them again. Who knows? Maybe I’ll plan something else just to hire them. -

They take the time to really get to know you, what your expectations are, your personality, and do everything you wish.They deliver that plus they go above and beyond any expectation! My husband and I are 100% in love with our pictures. Justin and Jeannette do an amazing job! I love their style. They are the only photographers we will ever use. They have done our family pictures, engagement pictures and now our wedding pictures. Our oldest son graduates in 2025, and they will be doing his Senior Pics. We love their style and creativity. Their sunset pictures are absolutely to die for. -

Our experience with Justin and Jeannette completely exceeded our expectations, from our two sets of engagement pictures to our beautiful wedding pictures! They made sure we had a game plan for family pictures after the wedding and made sure we got through all of our pictures in a timely manner. Having two different people photographing during the wedding, ensured they captured every single special and funny moment. Not to mention they bounced so many fun ideas off each other to capture our special day! We look forward to our family session with them soon, and are forever grateful for the pictures and relationship we have from our time with J & J 💕 -

It saddens me to see all these beautiful experiences by other couples, and then there is my experience. Maybe they just have gotten lazy? I don't know, but it breaks my heart into a million pieces, and you can't even rely on someone you pay over a thousand dollars in advance.
The company we hired to take our engagement photos assured us that the images would be edited and ready in 1-2 weeks. However, two weeks passed with no word from them. After 2 1/2 weeks and multiple attempts to contact them, they finally said the photos were ready. Unfortunately, we were on a tight schedule as our wedding was just a month away from the engagement photo session. Due to the delay in receiving the photos, we couldn't send them off to get printed before the wedding.
Additionally, we had to change our venue due to harassment and threats from the original host. Although we texted the new address to the photographers, they never responded.
Looking back, we should have noticed the signs of unreliability from the unanswered emails. However, given the short notice for our wedding, we were in a tough spot and needed a photographer. We had already paid them half the fee, and it seems we've been taken advantage of. Adding to the frustration, we paid in cash, which I suspect was a way for them to avoid taxes and potentially take advantage of us. It's a hard lesson learned. Now we're left without a photographer for our wedding. It's disappointing to deal with these challenges in what should be a joyous time.
UPDATE: BECAUSE WE HAD TO SWITCH PHOTOGRAPHERS, WE HIRED THE MOST AMAZING PHOTOGRAPHER, and I am glad we didn't have this company photograph our wedding! They didn't scam us out of money, and the quality of photos was 1,000 times better. The atmosphere was more positive. I wouldn't risk any money with these people. THEY BELIEVE THAT the money we paid them was "at least equal to the payment, and likely worth more" for the hour engagement photo session and the poor quality photos and editing. I CAN'T imagine how much our wedding would have cost if our engagement photos cost that much! And another UPDATE: they put our engagement photos back up as they are suing for defamation. THE PHOTOS ARE NOT AS ADVERTISED. THEY DIDN'T DO THE WORK FOR THE MONEY, AND BECAUSE WE WOULDN’T take down the truth, they have Edward Shaw (a lawyer) sending us letters threatening us to take it down. WOULD YOU WANT TO WORK WITH THESE KINDS OF PEOPLE? I wouldn't either. -
