My family has been ordering flowers for special occasions from Zuzu's for years. When my now-husband and I decided to plan a small wedding in the backyard of my parents' Brooklyn home, Zuzu's was our first and only choice for florals. The wedding-planning process can be stressful in the best of times, and the pandemic did not make things any easier. With Fonda and her Zuzus, we knew we would be taken care of like family, and we were.
Fonda designed and assembled a wedding canopy and a gorgeous tablescape in the backyard. In addition to breathtakingly beautiful flowers, she used decorative family heirlooms, like candlesticks, gathered from around the house. She worked with us to create something on a very short timeline that fit the aesthetic we hoped to achieve on our budget.
I loved the rich and vibrant colors of the bouquet she made for me, and the boutonnières and corsages for our parents and my sisters. She also decorated the interior and front stoop of the house. It meant so much to us (and to my mother, especially) to see how lovingly and thoughtfully Fonda and all of the Zuzus transformed our home into a colorful and festive wedding venue for one very special day.

We first worked with Fonda and the team at Zuzu’s when we got married in a park during the first year of the pandemic. They made a gorgeous bouquet and boutonniere, so when the time came to choose a florist for our big wedding, we knew we wanted to work with Zuzu’s again. Fonda was refreshingly honest in talking us through different options and ideas. She was very accommodating and patient with the many moving parts of our event and came up with beautiful and creative solutions to our requests. She went above and beyond. The flowers were just beautiful, and they did a perfect job of enlivening and energizing an otherwise plain space. Our guests were eager to take them at the end of the night, and we received multiple messages the following week from friends who said the flowers had been making them happy at home. -

User1390249 Sent on 10/21/2013Zuzu's flowers are gorgeous - I got a fall bouquet with roses and berries and they were able to accommodate my request of a small wristlet for my niece. I would buy flowers from here for any occasion in a heartbeat. -

Meredith Sent on 07/26/2013I could not have been happier with the flowers. Sophia was incredibly knowledgeable, and my two meetings with her were relaxed and productive. We chose Zuzu's knowing that their taste could be generally trusted without much interference from us, and we were right. The bouquets and centerpieces were all gorgeous - unusual and interesting flowers, lovely mix of colors, and stayed looking fresh all night. I was very very happy with the whole transaction. -
User1015721 Sent on 11/14/2012Fonda and her team made the most beautiful flowers for my girls and my tables. I had a pretty strict budget. Fonda helped design bouquets that were perfect for my vision without going overboard. When I first met her I didn't get the warm and fuzzy feeling you get with some wedding vendors. You know what, it didn't matter. She did her job, she didn't sugar coat it, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. My flowers were unique and beautiful. I didn't expect to love them as much as I did.
