The Casual Gourmet (CG) was wonderful and definitely helped make our wedding one of the best days ever! The whole day was beautiful and everything CG did was amazing. The food was awesome, really gourmet restaurant level cooking and beyond what we expected. Guests at the reception were raving about it. Of course, my special choice, the lobster rolls were probably my favorite, but the scallops with flan were amazing. Those got the most comments from guests. The ravioli was terrific. All the other choices were wonderful too. The desserts were very tasty and looked beautiful. The wedding cake was awesome; beautiful, delicious and exactly what I wanted. Perfect!
The reception room at our church never looked better. The setup looked great and their choice of hightops with two food tables plus bar was perfect. I'm happy we did a stand-up meal of heavy hors d'oeuvres as it gave the guests more opportunity to mingle and make a full luncheon of it. The dishware and glasses were great and everything was quickly picked up and cleaned away so there was no clutter.
The servers were wonderful, extremely professional and very discreet. I didn't even notice food tables being refilled and plates were quickly served making everything so easy for our guests.
Mary Di Rienzo from CG came out to Provincetown a few days before to review our space and go over final details. She was great to work with. She also came the day of the wedding and made sure everything ran like clockwork. This felt like an added bonus.
The whole event was really first class. I will be recommending The Casual Gourmet to my friends. In fact, I've already had folks request their info for future reference.

Olive was hugely helpful in working out tent, rental, layout and timing logistics for me as I had not been to the venue before. There was a hurricane predicted and she had lots of suggestions for managing the weather for our outdoor event, but the day turned out to be beautiful. When she arrived for the event, however, the wind had picked up and before I even got there she had gotten the tent company back on site to secure the sidewalls and cook tent so the wind was not an issue at all! Aside from the logistics, the food was SUPERB! The sit down dinner was three courses, each better than the previous and our guests ate every bit. We served a second dinner with food stations afterwards for the welcome party and everyone loved it. The best lobster roll and fantastic crab cake sliders were highlights! How Olive got such 5 star food out of a cook tent I will never know, but it was truly amazing, and I highly recommend Casual Gourmet.

For this father of the bride Mary and her staff were outstanding. The guests raved about the food (it was excellent). They handled all the decorations, both setting up and taking down, and had everything pulled together at the end of the evening. They made a special evening very easy and let everyone have a great time. Thank you Mary.
