I have 142 songs on my playlist, and need to add some of my Fiance's favorites.

As you consider the songs for your wedding, I would like you to consider this

On your first dance you start with your selection for the wedding. Then about the middle of the song you separate and take turns dancing for each other. . . kinda like in a competition. You do a few of those and then back to your couples song as you finish your dance. I saw this in a video and thought it was great

It is always interesting to see the wide variety of songs that couples would like to see played at a wedding. I think the more songs that have personal value to certain family members and friends, the more memorable the wedding will be. Everyone knows the YMCA but does anyone actually have a personal connection to it? Probably not. Keep the lists coming!

We probably had the most inappropriate reception music of all time! It included things like "Before He Cheats" and "Honeyed Out." But the singer was a friend who is also a professional singer, and a lot of our other friends know and like her as well, so we just went with the completely nontraditional approach.

Our first dance song, though, was Leonard Cohen's "Dance Me to the End of Love," which was both appropriate and beautiful.
