Congrats on having a date and good luck on your planning! I gave myself a year to plan and it came and went so fast! Looking at stuff can definitely be overwhelming but take it one step at a time and you’ll be fine!

We have the venue and florals booked. Quotes back from catering, DJ and photographer.
I’ve been watching the weather this week to see what it might do next year. High of 90 tomorrow then 60s early next week. Not hard to plan around that, right?!?

This is our date as well! I was just looking over a mountain of things and realized that we're (almost...few more hours) at the one year away mark!!!!! I've been working on a few things since this summer (got engaged last fall) and have my dress, photographer and florist. Fingers crossed this weekend we'll have a venue (we've had this part locked up 'almost' a few times now but one thing or another happened so I'm hopeful but not kinda worried) after we see a few I found here on the site. Definitely excited but also starting to feel like 'Do I have enough time to actually pull this together?!?!?'

Sounds great to have the space to do the ceremony in the backyard. It is not always cheaper that a rented venue but it may work out okay. Do you also need to rent the portable bathrooms? That is just more of a thought than needing an answer.

10/14/23 is our wedding date! I hope you guys find everything you're looking for and have a gorgeous backyard wedding. Props to you for having the guts to throw one, as I know they can be hard!
