Hello Wedding Date Twin!! There sure are a lot of us out there! Can’t believe how fast everything is flying by, we have the following done:
-date (obviously 😉)
-venue -caterer-florist-photographer-baker (we are doing cupcakes!)-wedding party-engagement photos-wedding dress
Even though I feel like we have done so much I feel like we have so much more to do! Hoping to get our save the dates sent out early next year, I have heard different time frame suggestions but we are hoping to send out no later than February! By then we also hope to have our Wedding website complete which includes selecting our Hotel for Room blocks and getting our wedding Registries selected!
Best of luck on the rest of your to do list! I am sure these next 339 days will FLY BY!!

Yay, date twins! I have deposits down on:


- Venue- Photographer - Videographer - Caterer- Day of Coordinator- Bartenders (we bring our own alcohol)- DJ- Florist (as of today!)
I’m going to be dress shopping in January after the holidays, and my bridesmaids will buy theirs then too.
Calling cake people today (we’re doing donuts)! I do not have hair/makeup yet, or a hotel block (we have lots of out of towners) but I’ll do that the week after Thanksgiving probably. Already have an officiant too, who is my uncle that’s already ordained. My parents and grandparents have been stocking up on booze since we got engaged lol (Dec 2019) so we’ll have plenty by the time the wedding rolls around.
It’s so close yet so far away!

OMG reading what everyone else has done I feel behind...but I'm not?

Venue - yep. Photographer - yep. Bridal party - yep. DJ - yep. Color scheme & decor ideas - yes. Catering...having a hard time picking. Flowers - lots of my friends are flower farmers so I'm waiting on that. Hotel blocks - not yet. Dress - not yet. Cake - not yet. Coordinator - not yet!

-Almost all of our decor except for favors

-Dress ordered

-Shoes ordered

-Officiant booked

-DJ is booked

-Half of our alcohol is bought

-Bridesmaids dresses picked out

-Hair/makeup artist booked

-Lodging booked for wedding night and bridal party night before

-Blocks set out at the hotel

-Wedding website designed and published

We are getting married 10/23/2021 in Granbury Texas we have the dress / suit / venue / cake / photographer / wedding party / bridesmaid and groomsmen last vacation rentals / officiant / locking in a caterer


Stressful and fun all at the same time!

I just got my dress last Friday I also booked the venue in June when he proposed and then my DJ and photographer which are the same people about a month ago !

Got a possible venue. All my colors and theme is picked out. Of course got the wedding party. Starting to dress shop in January

Another wedding date twin here! I feel like everyone has their stuff together — I struggle with all the details. I have our venue finally but it was so difficult (either too expensive or not avail bc of Covid). I have a photographer & my dress. Decided on colors, makeup & hair people decided too.

Hey girl! Our date is 10/16/21, so just a week before yours! We've been engaged for over a year now and so far have:

Booked our venue, photographer, videographer, DJ, and caterer. Purchased my dress. Asked all of our bridal party to be in the wedding. Picked out our colors. Purchased some decor -- like cake stand and candle votives. And took our engagement photos.

Next steps after the new year are: make our save the dates, finish up our wedding website, book florist and hair and makeup artist, start working on what we want our decor to look like.

It's going to fly by and, before you know it, October will be here!

Me!! Almost everything is booked. Just gotta finish paying

Hey! Congrats!! Honestly, we have done NOTHING! I'm not even sure our date will be 10.23.21! We haven't looked at venues yet, I just really LOVE the date!! I hope whatever venue we find has it available

I don't have anything locked down except the venue. I have ideas and things I plan to do just have to be able to do it! 😣

My wedding is the same day! I have had my venue booked since June and I just bought my wedding dress! Next step is catering 😋

Venue is paid. Working on photographer and bartender fees. But then first of the year it’s inventions, DJ and makeup artist app. Wedding dress fitting
