Hi everyone. My fiancé and I booked our wedding venue with the ceremony start time of 11AM and the reception to follow. Does an early wedding start time make it feel like less of wedding? Any experience or other brides with an early start time? Thank you all in advance!

OMG I love early weddings as a guest! Gives me time to travel to your city and I don't have to stay the night if I dont want to! It also gives you the option of MORE time to celebrate.

No way. My ceremony is 10:45 am... time of day means nothing.

My wedding is at the end of May and our ceremony will start at 11 am. My FH and I thought it would be nice just because it can give us more time to spend with out of town guests. Because of us having an early ceremony and because, of how large his family is, and mixed with the few members of my own family we are able to have a second reception later on in the evening that is more intimate with them so that we can focus on friends and coworkers at the earlier reception. We will also be opening wedding gifts at the second reception as well.
