12 days until my wedding! What do brides forget?

sierra, on November 30, 2014 at 11:49 AM Posted in Planning 0 3

Yay, I'm getting married in less than two weeks!

I have this fear that I'm forgetting something important, but I think all my bases are covered. It's just so hard to figure out what I might be missing when I don't know what to look for in the first place. Last week, for example, I realized I need cake plates in addition to dinner plates. Gah!

I would search Google for a list of things you "need" for a wedding. Also, I know my venue gave me a mini check-list of things I would need (they provide a lot).

Take some time, kick back with a pen and paper. Think about the day and what's happening step-by-step. Write down everything you can think of that you'll need.

Once you start writing, things will start magically appearing on the paper. Again, I'd try to do this relaxed which I know is hard because you're wedding is soon!

    Congrats and good luck!!

License. Apply for it, get it, bring it.

Any props you need for the ceremony; unity candles, ring warming bag, single roses, etc.

I'm 1 week away and I've put everything we need to remember for the wedding into our hall closet. I have taken all the shoes from the shelves and put our cake topper, license, cutting set, toasting flutes, etc. Just put everything you come across on somewhere together. That way when you are ready to go, you just go straight to that location and take everything. I can't wait!!!
