And just like that… our 4.5 year engagement will finally be over! We got engaged in April 2017, set our date in March 2019 for October 2020 then thanks for Covid postponed to October 2021.

This weekend we got the last of things done; marriage license & final payments, wrapped gifts. Everything is done except for steaming my dress (schedule for 2 days before the wedding) and picking up my fiancé’s attire form Men’s Wear House a day or two before the wedding.
I’ll probably make a stop at the dollar store next week for two picture frames for our two signs and fake flowers for the ring bearer box.
Yay!

We’re October 31st… but big congrats to you! Our 3 year engagement is WAY too long. So, I can’t imagine 4.5 years. We were also October 2020 and postponed a year to October 2021. However, our “to do” list decreased considerably at the end of August because we canceled everything and decided to elope in Hawaii since that’s where our honeymoon was booked. We selected a fairly all-inclusive elopement package and immediately tackled any extra plans. So, the tasks remaining are few: select a song for our video highlight, decide whether to hire a ukulele player or not, buy a cake topper (the package comes with a small cake), shop for a few new honeymoon outfits, final alteration appointments. have my ring cleaned and a few other small loose ends. But nothing stressful is remaining and it’s wonderful!!

It’s FINALLY countdown time and I can’t wait!!! 😆🥳

That's exciting - I definitely know how you feel. Our big wedding is now 12 days out and I cannot wait!!!! We still had our minimony and got married last October, but now we FINALLY get to celebrate with our family and friends!
