1st Dance Song

FH and I are going to dance to "Everything" by Michael Buble, but it's been our song since we first heard it. I personally wouldn't pick "Everytime We Touch" only because I think people would associate it with the fast version too much. Maybe you two could find a new song that you can associate with your special day from there on out.

Have you considered doing a mix of sorts? Perhaps your DJ could start with the Michael Buble song, mix it into the Slow Cascada version, and then kick it off into high gear with the fast version of Cascada?

I am partial to "Everything" by Michael Buble, but that's because it's our first dance song.

Confession: I had never heard the slow version of that song, and it's beautiful! I think they are both really nice songs and either one will be a good choice, so my advice is to listen to both, imagine having your first dance, and pick the one that makes you smile the most when you think about it.

FW wants to do a "mash up" or slow to fast fade.... our song is "forever" by ben harper and after a few mins we are thinking of fading in "foreveR" by chris brown.... ♫ one two three four! Forever… forever… It’s you and me moving at the speed of light into eternity !! ♫

What about doing one as your first dance and having the other as the last dance? That's what we're doing. I fell in love with two songs over the course of our relationship that really suit us well so we've divided them up into the two dances so we could have them both

I vote Cascada...I was obsessed with her first CD for a long time. She is fabulous. I think the slow version would be perfect.

I think we are doing, Lost in this Moment by Big & Rich. We haven't really looked into it yet but as of now, that's what we've decided!

Its super easy....follow your heart. You only get this one day. Do what makes your heart happy.

Do eenie meenie miney moe. when one song is eliminated you will either he relieved or disappointed. That's how you'll know which song you really want I make all major decisions on which I cannot decide in this manner.

I personally love "Everything" but it's what you want. I feel like whatever song you choose, every time you hear it it will remind you of the day you married your best friend. So pick the one that means the most to you both!

Michael Buble Everything. The Cascada song is pretty but it's mostly vocals the piano is really slow it does not seem like the best song to dance to.

I personally would probably go with cascadas slow version, then when your dance is over mix it to the fast version!

I'm neutral on the choices, but if he left it up to you...you should pick the one you like most.

I also like Jesyka's suggestion, because that's what happened to me . I like "We've Only Just Begun" by the Carpenters, he wanted "Could I have this Dance" by Anne Murray. So my pick is our first dance, and his is our last dance.

I kind of like your FH suggestion. Personally im leaning toward my FH's simply because most of the other decisiona are being made by me.
