Have any of you gone from updo for your ceremony to dropping your hair down for the reception? Pics pls!

I find the updo to be more elegant for the ceremony, and letting the hair down to be more relaxed to have fun! I was thinking of tucking pinned curls behind a layer of hair to look like 1 bun for the ceremony, then unpinning them for the reception. In my mind, that’s not a difficult transition.

This sounds like a great idea if you would like both options on your wedding day.
I would suggest you have a hair trial and discuss this with your hairstylist so he/she can come up with a way to make this work as an easy transition for you to make if you do not plan on having him/her change it.
You could ask a member of the wedding party to come to the trial with you to see how they remove the pins, and he/she could help you on the wedding day!
Have you chosen a hairstylist yet? Or are you still searching?
