2 Matrons of Honor?

Jennifer, on March 18, 2020 at 10:20 PM Posted in Planning 0 7

I am recently engaged and trying to decide on my wedding party. I am not looking to have a big wedding party and plan on just having my sister, my best friend of 20+ years, and my 8 year old niece (junior bridesmaid) in it. I'm equally close to my sister and best friend and I was the maid of honor in both of their weddings. Can I have 2 Matrons of Honor titles? I feel like just the term "bridesmaid" is not enough for one of them. Thanks for all advice!

You can do whatever you want! I have to Co Maids of Honor in my wedding. I’ve never been one to have a “best” friend so I’m having them split the role.

I have two too! My baby sister (14) and my soon to be sister in law (22). It's absolutely ok!

YEP! We have two maids of honor and two best men! We have 13 people in our bridal party so there's still some Bridesmaids and groomsmen as well. It's your wedding, there are no rules!
