2020 Brides!!!

WOW! You've done so much already! I got engaged on Christmas, and all we have done so far is start a guest list and narrow down venue options! We are planning for October 2020 as well!! Not sure on the day yet though!

Engaged 11.16.18 wedding in June 2020. So far we have talked to most of our BM/GM and have flights booked to go look at venues! We live in Texas and are flying to Florida over my spring break in March, so fingers crossed we get our venue booked after that and can start really planning!

I’m behind out wedding is Jan 5 2020 and I still have not locked in a venue being that we want to have it in Orlando and we live in Missouri lol

Ours is hopefully in October of 2020 also! We have our date and our maid of honor/best man selected! If anything you're way ahead of the game!

Well we got engaged Dec. 2017. Wedding June 2020 in Puerto Rico (destination wedding, but fiancé from there). We have our venue, just hired our photographer/videographer (joint), bridal party, DRESS and already have an estimated budget (I'm a type-A planner). We are working on a caterer now.

We got engaged October 9th, 2018 and our wedding is in March 2020. So far, we have the venue booked, my dress, and our colors picked out. I found a DJ and a hair & MUA and will be paying their deposits soon. I am going to hold off on planning for a couple weeks then come back and get everything together.

Engaged 2/12/18, planned for 8/8/2020, found a venue I loved only 30 min from FH & my house, then pushed back to October 2020. I've always loved fall & I get sunburn super easy so decided fall is better anyway. Went for a second tour of the venue with FH, but took my maid & matron of honor with us. I swear I remember her telling us we could have a 4:30 ceremony, but now they were telling me I couldn't start until 6:30 & have to be out by midnight. A lot of money for no time. So that was about 10 months wasted. Now that I'm looking for a new venue (I am completely set that I do NOT want a hall), I'm finding that my date was super popular despite being a little less than 2 years out. Anything I like is either already booked on my date, too expensive, all the way on the west or north side of the state or in the UP (I live in southeast Michigan). So I'm definitely way behind. I did find a photographer I like & a caterer, but can't book anything until I have a venue 🙄 I also have OCD with numbers, so people just keep suggesting I change my date but don't really understand why that is so difficult for me to do..

Engaged October 2017 and are having outside February 29, 2020. We have our guest list, bridal party we will doing a brunch to ask them. We have our venue, caterer, photographer, STD's and are interviewing DJ's, which seem to be crazy expensive in S. California. I'm working on our invitations and my brooch bouquet.

You're doing well and are on track right now for sure!

Ours will either be June or August 2020 and so far we have a reception venue that we love (haven't booked it just yet though) picked out the majority of our wedding party (I still have two bridesmaids that I need to figure out) and we have our wedding colors at least.

The next things that we really need to figure out is a church for the ceremony, finalize guests lists, take engagement photos, book a DJ, etc.

Haha, we have got some catching up to do!

My cousin just got married and they had ease with the planning aspect because his friend suggested they meet with a financial planner (since they wanted to organize it themselves) to help with budgeting and creating family goals after the big day. My cousins learned there’s nothing worst than stressing about money during this stage in the process or uncertainty. Hope this helps and once again congratulations

Hi!! And congrats!! Your right on schedule if not ahead of the game !! I got engaged 9-4-18 and getting married 2-29-2020. We have our bridal party set up, venue picked out pending to change due to some issues and that’s pretty much it ! Oh wait no we have our photographer and videographer.

Engaged since 11/27/16 our date is for 2020 due to having our son in 2017 & a destination wedding in 2018. We wanted to give ourselves enough time to plan and save money 💰.. I have my colors picked, the date, and we’re almost 90% done w the groomsmen and bridesmaid situation. I’m stuck on venue and cartering 😩
