I'm getting married April,18,2020. I've booked my venue, reception and officiant. We've also already established our wedding party and decided we are having a taco/nacho bar for food. I'm looking at wedding dresses on Friday. I love planning early so I don't forget anything. I do the same with my kids birthdays lol.

October 10, 2020 is our date.

I've already booked the venue, photographer, hair/makeup, DJ and photobooth. We're both fortunate that we have friends that dj, and I work at a salon doing hair and makeup, so I asked my coworkers to do mine. My bridesmaid is paying for our photobooth, our mutual friends own a photobooth company. Extremely grateful for everything.

All we need to do is book a florist, invites and dress shopping and someone to possibly do lighting/draping at our venue. I'm just glad we got the hard stuff out of the way.

We are August 7th, 2020! I'm a planner by nature so we've already booked the venues (church for ceremony and golf course for reception), officiant, photographer, dj, caterer, and working on booking the day of coordinator now. Next steps for me are to officially ask my bridesmaids and look into flowers!

Hi! Getting married June 2020. I’m sort of type A and crazy when it comes to planning lol. I would much rather get everything booked and be done with it! So far we’ve booked the venue, photographer, videographer, caterer, band/dj, lighting, drapery, and live artist. Hoping to book the florist in the next couple of weeks!

I got engaged on Christmas and we are getting married January 26, 2020. We have already secured the venue, photographer, florist, and invitations. We are currently researching caterers and I'm gathering ideas for my dress. We hit the ground running because the venue and catering are most important to us. People offered to help with the other things. I really want to be ahead of schedule with the big things so we can have a relaxing summer before planning tux rentals, table rentals, etc.

Things get booked so quickly. I will suggest to get on top and book the most important things such as DJ, photographer, florist and caterer if any. Church is really the most important, my church told me I need to book a year in advance but I had a friend that they asked for a year and a half in advance. It all depends of the church but the sooner the better.

Wow! Everyone's planned so much! June 2020 here! We have our church for the wedding, caterer, officiant, and bridal party. Almost finished with the guest list! Hopefully we're looking to lock down a venue before the end of March!

I've booked my venue who does flowers, décor, catering, and the DJ as well as all plates and tables and chairs, Booked my cake, officiant, and bought my dress and selected my bridesmaids attire,. I've designed and proofed my invitations and rsvp cards, and customized my STDs. I'm working on gathering addresses so i can send the STDs out next month, but in order to get these, i have to wait on my dad and my FH and FMIL. I hate depending on other people when i just want to get things done. wedding date is 02.02.2020

May 24, 2020! Bought my wedding dress in July, booked our farm reception venue in September (along with catering since it comes with), DJ in October, and the officiant at our church ceremony also in October. We are going to meet with a photographer sometime in March, and a florist probably around then, if not by April. Just looking at florist prices I am really leaning towards DIY-ing it haha. We will probably have the cake ordered by May.

That's so cool to hear you guys are having separate ceremony and reception sites! We are doing the same, and our dates are a week apart haha (mine is May 24, 2020). We booked our church as the ceremony site and a farm for the reception. Best of luck finding your reception!

What colors are you thinking about using?

Awesome!! One of the venues we looked at was a barn but it was just too out of the way from the ceremony. We’re signing our vendor contract for the golf course/country club next door to the church this week! Our colors are shades of purple (light shades) like lavender and lilac, and navy! What are yours??

Ohhh I see. Yeah for us the farm is about an hour or so away from the church. We walked in the farm and right there we knew it was "the" place for our reception. The farm is letting us use the property from early in the morning until late at night, so we are planning on getting ready there since it'll be available to us. Congratulations! That sounds like a great idea! Are you guys going to have the reception outdoors, indoors, or a little bit of both? Light purple will definitely pop against navy! It will be beautiful Smiley smile we decided on dusty blue, silver, and charcoal grey. Future hubby loves grey haha so I am willing to make it work Smiley smile

    Oh, pretty!!

The reception will be indoors but the room is all giant windows overlooking the golf course and gardens, and we have access to the grounds for photos 😊

I feel that! One of 2 things FH has asked is to wear navy blue so I said of course and started looking at colors to go with it 😂
