It's finally 2021 - and I personally am so excited because it's finally our wedding year! I have been with my fiancé, Rob, for 9 1/2 years (this year makes 10 years) and to say I have been waiting a long time for this is an understatement! We're getting married October 8 - and with the pandemic...

It's finally 2021 - and I personally am so excited because it's finally our wedding year! I have been with my fiancé, Rob, for 9 1/2 years (this year makes 10 years) and to say I have been waiting a long time for this is an understatement!

We're getting married October 8 - and with the pandemic happening I know this year is still very much up in the air on events, so let's talk! Any of you postponing? Any of you postponing again after postponing from 2020? How many of you are able to still keep your wedding plans as is?

That's really exciting. Congrats on such a long healthy relationship. We were originally next month and had to postpone. We made the announcement this morning but have yet to set a new date. If it wasn't for our state's capacity restriction, we could have moved forward.

Absolutely and thank you as well. We are actually drinking today lol. You're right. It will work out in the end. I'm just hoping the end is near. Probably the only time I will ever say those words.

I feel so scared. My wedding was postponed from April to October 8th because currently my Fiancé is unable to get into the USA in the name of coronavirus. He is German. So we had to push it and now am praying that the damn borders be open way before October, like I may go crazy. We have been apart for a long time and we don't even know when we can see each other again because of the restrictions. I can only pray and hope that borders open again so I can get married and start my life.

I postponed last May and am now getting married March 21 and not moving it again! We are inviting 150 and seeing how many say yes. My venue is working with me for headcount minimum

April 3 2021, Nervous. Cut our list big time, and hopeful for a smaller celebration, but in the back of my head wondering if it’s a bad idea. Wedding is outside, but I am trying to keep family safe.

We are scheduled to marry for June 19, 2021. Had about 283 on our guest list, but now will only have no more than 15 people there as we have decided to postpone the event portion. There are many factors that went into this decision, we are terrified of covid, don’t want to ask others to risk their lives for one day, his Nigerian and his family won’t be able to attend as of now, the fact that we are spending this money and only a few will show, and more. It’s just too much right now. But the goal is to have another wedding in a year as we have paid for many things already and our girls have purchased and some received their dresses already. Ugh, I feel horrible, but we don’t want to be selfish and ask people to put themselves in that situation 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️.

I hate to be the downer, my mom is currently hospitalized due to covid atm. I have so many emotions as it happened so fast. My wedding of 75 guests is in May, postponed from Oct.2020. I'm now pausing planning and waiting for her to recover but my gut is telling me to cut my list to immediate family only. I do not want to postpone as I just want to marry my Fiance already. But I want to do it as safely as possible. I'm glad I didn't send the invites yet because I kept forgetting to bring the box everytime I left my house!.

We are doing a micro wedding on July 1. Ceremony in the mountains at sunrise and then coffee and champagne fancy breakfast at a restaurant to follow. If something happens that we would need to adjust, we would host the breakfast at our home instead of the restaurant - but the date won’t change Smiley heart

All of you who have gone through postponements are TROOPERS - I can’t imagine that stress. I have my fingers crossed for all of you for this year!
