My fiancé wanted me to wait a year before planning and I started planning anyway lol I’m getting married in 2021 too! Ask for an estimated cost list so you can know how much the venue will be with fees and gratuity and things like that included. That really helped me choose a venue.

View Quoted Comment Luckily the one place I’m looking at is extremely transparent with their pricing and they sent me a spreadsheet with approximate cost based off the numbers I gave them with my inquiry, and the other states right at the bottom of the page that there’s a 22% service fee and gratuity. The latter is all inclusive so all I’d have to get extra is a photographer and my own decorations I started. Planning before we even decided to get married xD we talked about it enough I felt fairly confident it was coming.
