2021 Wedding

Hi my name is Amber I'm getting married May 15 2021 this is my first time getting married and I have some questions that need answering.

We picked 2021 for many reasons. Mostly I wanted a long engagement and also a winter wedding. I’m finding that a lot of vendors are hearing only the “2021” part of my date and won’t talk to me when they hear that. Since we are actually get married in January, 2021, we are only 15 months away! I feel crazy reaching out to our vendors and hearing “come back in a few months” but then also having them tell me they book up to a year in advance.

October 2021! My venue is booked and the wedding planner & catering & food choice is booked also! I ordered my bouquet and etc too 🤣 I slowed down because I want to still have task to do next year and as it get close to the wedding date I’m so exited and I’m have so much fun planning the things! I still haven’t worked out my bridesmaids I’m adding and deleting somebody every other day🤦🏽‍♀️

We're getting married in 2021 too. We've picked out our colors, our flowers, decided on several key parts of our ceremony and reception. We have narrowed down locations, hair and makeup, Bridesmaids dresses, florists, caterers and a few others already. 🤷🏾‍♀️ We also have ideas of who we would like to use as our DJ, videographer, and a co-planner. Ours has the unusual difficulty of being in Hawaii, where he's from, with him being in Arizona and my being in Ohio, too, though. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I got engaged in Oct 2018 and I also have a venue and dress already! I had my dress by March of 2018 and we just secured our venue this past weekend ! You’re not alone!

Some flowers, venues, dresses, menu options and invitations even lend themselves more to a particular set of styles. So, while you do need one, you already have one, you just don't know it yet.

No your not i getting remarred in 2021 and i stared in jan of this year so when the day comes i wiil have every thing in place .i do not what nothing left untrun so it can go like i plan

My june 2021

Lol! Trust me you are not the only one contacting vendors or going too fast! My fiance and I just booked our venue, me and him are trying to book all the big stuff first like next will be our photographer and DJ! Right now we are trying to figure out who should officiate and who should do our hair. Right now I'm trying to focus on losing weight to fit into a dress! Happy wedding planning! If you ever need to talk about wedding stuff I am always interested!

I am getting married April 2021 and I already have my dress, narrowed my venue down to 2. Just need to decide, I have put my deposit down on my photographer/videographer, and the guest list is DONE!.

I have been researching my DIY centerpieces and pretty much chosen them. My cousin is probably going to be my DJ so he is set also. Our goal is to have everything paid off a whole month or 2 early. So no you are NOT the only one.

Yikes. that is crazy.

Our venues we have chosen are $800-$1000 down. 50% of the balance 60 days out then remaining 5 days prior to event along w/ our final final guarantee. I figure if we do this now, we can surely knock the balance out in about 6 months.

You are definitely not the only one! Deposits are paid to the venue and DJ already and I’ve had my dress for a year now!!

May 22, 2021, here. We have venue booked, DJ booked, hair/makeup booked, flowers are already done did those myself, invite template done, save the dates done, rsvps done, caterer done, working on the limo now but should be booked in 2 months at the most. Gifts for the bridesmaids almost done (missing their liquor, lol). Have everything else already picked out just have to order when the time comes.

I am! I booked my venue with catering Saturday and booking my photographer this week!!

I don't think it's ever too early! You need to know pricing and have your date secured! I'd rather be ahead of the game than behind! We have our venue booked, wedding cake , catering and DJ. Now we're working on some small details lol. Excited for you!!
