I got engaged April of this year and will be having my wedding October of 2022. As I am planning I see that every company and person wants deposits, deposits, and more deposits! Makes me wonder if I should’ve made the wedding for 2023. Did you have your wedding shortly after engagement or a longer...

I got engaged on Mothers Day 2021. We have been together for 8 years. Our wedding is in June 2022. Yes,I can relate to the deposits for every vendor. My only regret so far is having to go through the Venues preferred catering list. I would've like to pick my own Caterer

Oh yes it is a flurry of deposits. We got engaged July of this year with our wedding set for October 2022 & have already spent a LOT on deposits. So many of our first choice vendors were already booked too.

Engaged in June 2021, date set for May 2022. We got lucky and have family property do have the wedding at, family DJ, & family catering, so no deposits. Just have to rent a tent and seating. Planning is going smooth so far (knock on wood) I am on schedule with the wedding wire checklist. It's going by so slow though!

We got engaged on October 9, after 5.5 years of dating! Our wedding will be on November 18, 2022! I just bought my dress yesterday, after trying on about 15 dresses, and I must say…. Trying on wedding dresses is an instant mood booster! I am in love with my dress! I also bought my veil, which should be delivered in January! I’m debating on going big for shoes since no one can see them anyways. Would white sandals/flip flops be crazy?? Lol. What is everyone else doing for shoes and accessories?
We’re having a small, intimate wedding and don’t want to spend a fortune, but planning is still so stressful.

We got engaged July 25th of 2020 and getting married September 10th, 2022. We had a venue but ended up having to cancel due to some financial difficulties. My aunt and nurse manager at my work bought a church for all kinds of events so where getting married at there church. All we had to do was re-paint the floors and mow the lawn and our weddings paid for.

Got engaged January 2021 and getting married June 2022. If COVID wasn't an issue I would have wanted to get married this past summer as I wanted a short engagement but we knew it would be best to wait. I am glad we did because it gave us more time to save and plan and we haven't experienced much stress (yet).

We got engaged January 1st, 2021 (1/1/21!), and our wedding will be October 22, 2022. Personally, I've enjoyed having a longer engagement. It's given us time to save $$ and choose vendors we really like. We're planning little by little, because it can absolutely be overwhelming and expensive! We already have our church, reception venue, and photographer booked. Luckily our reception venue is all-inclusive, so they are providing a lot of important things like food, cake, tables and chairs, bar etc. It's made planning SO much easier. Now I just really need to find my dress and hair and makeup person for the big day!

I got engaged February 1999 and married 2003. When we were planning my brother-n-law joined the army and got sent overseas. When he was home for a short time we had a small ceremony at the court house. August 2022 we are renewing our vows.

I got engaged in August 2020 and will be legally married in March 2022! I am, however, moving my reception to August 2022!

April 2021 Engagement, November 2022 Wedding Date. 19 months or a little over a year and a half. My sister got married this past summer and I didn’t have the bandwidth on planning my wedding during hers. (She was engaged in 2018 for a 2020 date - delayed to 2021).

I got engaged in August 2019 on my birthday, and the wedding will be September 2022! It will be officially 2 years that we will have been engaged and 5 and a half years we've been together!

Oh I had a very long engagement, I first got engaged when I was 24 and I'm 29 now lol. We were doing so many things in the beginning where we didn't really care about a wedding we wanted to get other things in order. In 2018 we decided it was time to start planning but then o found out I was pregnant and ended up being hospitalized for 7 months so a wedding was out of the question. Now here we are in 2021 and we have set a date of 12/17/2022. We have put deposits on the venue and photographer so there's no stopping this time. We saved up enough money to put down deposits for everything because we knew that was the only way to secure our spot but doing payments for everything works out for us.
