With covid, my fiancé and I are planning most things early. Our wedding is 8-2022 and we have booked our photographer, venue, DJ, hair and makeup. Our colors are navy, green, and gold. I’m going for a romantic, boho vibe. Very VERY low-key wedding in Philadelphia. 85 people, ceremony on the boat where our reception is being held, and so far everything has been super easy. Dresses will most likely be from Azazie. My sister and I will be doing my bouquets and the boutonnières. Using the Knot and WeddingWire and a binder to have a physical copy of the details for the wedding. Still on the agenda: dress shopping, bachelorette party, bridal shower, and honeymoon planning.

We have venue, photographer, videographer, and flowers booked. Finalizing a band or DJ this week and dress shopping at the end of next month. We’re planning little by little so it can be more relaxed.

I think its never too early! Especially since a lot of couples who had their wedding planned for these months of uncertainty. The venue we are going to book said many brides are calling in and requesting to push their dates back to 2022 so for sure start looking! We have November 2022 in the works and even though we still have well over a year to plan, I’m getting small details out of the way so by next year we focus more on celebrating, bachelorettes, bridal showers etc! 😍 good luck!

I have most of all our venues booked. Not getting married till July 2022 but taking my time and planning everything. I noticed somethings are booking up quick. A venue is already booked up for half of 22. It’s never too early to start planning.

I’ve booked my venue, my DJ, my photographer, my videographer, caterer, bridal party has been asked. All I need is my florist, everything is else basically done. My wedding is June 2022, I don’t think it’s too early to start. It is getting very competitive with booking with vendors due to everyone having to postpone there wedding.

2022 bride, luckily we were always a 2022 wedding no push backs or change of dates here. But I have booked the venue and the photographer. We are speaking to a few DJs and bands and a few florists just as options but probably for a few months and then go back to the planning board.

I don't think it's ever too early to start planning! Especially with many weddings getting postponed to 2022, many popular venues are booking up faster than normal (at least for my area). I am getting married June 25th, 2022 and have the venue and caterer booked. Looking into photographers now and then a DJ. After that we probably won't have to do much for a few months. Our venue is a modern barn so we are going with a 'rustic chic' look. Colors are mauve and neutrals/creams with lots of greenery. We haven't had many obstacles so far, just some vendors that are veryyy slow to respond to inquiries and some initial sticker shock. Dang weddings are expensive! Congratulations everyone!

We are working on exploring and getting an idea of the bigger picture. What is and isn’t important to us to have, much like looking at houses to get an idea of what kind of style you enjoy. We used the wedding wire checklist and added our own things like budget checking and months to make decisions on things to help us make sure we are on the right path. We don’t plan to have a wedding planner so spacing out everything makes it easier and less stressful in the long run. 2022 is also a year that plenty of friends and family believe to be the year COVID gathering limitations will be lifted and we wanted to be ready to fight for our dream venue against the masses!

We have our venue booked but that’s about it right now. I’m working on picking a theme at the moment, we have two that work well with our venue; kinda an Art Deco theme or an Enchanted Forest theme. I asked 3/7 of my bridesmaids last week and they came with me to try on dresses for the first time. I know it’s too early to be buying a dress but I was falling in love with everything I saw online and I had to find out what looked good on me. My MOH lives in a different state but I hope to visit her soon and start really working on the details! She is a party planning queen so I’m really banking on her help to pull our dream wedding off. Any body worried about picking out colors that aren’t gonna be “in style” for a later date??

My wedding is scheduled for August 2022. Thisnis because we wanted to be further out of COVID with less restrictions on number of guest etc. We have booked the venue and photographer. We booked thr photographer after doing research, basically stated that its better to do so early so you get a quality photographer as they book fast. I've found wedding invitations that we like and have begun looking for a wedding dress. I'm not in a rush to puchase one yet but wanted to take my time to find "my dress". Having our wedding in 2022 allows us to plan and ensure everything we desire falls into our budget.

Planned to be a fall 2022 bride from the jump. Had a few months to enjoying our engagement then started planning. Glad I did, because we went from destination wedding (then realized important people wouldn’t be able to afford) to a micro wedding then did our guest list and realized we’ve got about 100 people we want to join us! So glad I didn’t feel rushed to figure out what was right for us. Just got back from touring our first venue and we both really loved it! I found colors I loved a few weeks ago, and started gathering things for my bridesmaid proposals as well (since most are from Etsy I knew they’d take some time to trickle in). I think we’ll see a few more venues and see what feels most like “us”! I think it’s almost a blessing there’s no way for us to afford a Saturday wedding, because Friday fall dates for the most part are still available lol. Best of luck and congrats on your engagements, ladies!!!

We got engaged in December of 2019, so really right before everything with COVID started happening. We had planned to have the wedding April 2021 and had most of our vendors secured, but we’ve since pushed it back to October 2022. We are in the process of booking the venue and photographer right now, not much else. Already have a theme and color scheme, which changed pretty significantly since the first wedding we had planned.

Hello ! I don’t think it’s too soon. I have already booked my venue and I have my dress. Currently interviewing florists and event planners. In my mind the earlier we start planning, the more time we have to pay!

Aiming for Fall 2022 here. I thought I was ahead of the game in planning and turns out the venue I fell in love with is entirely booked through 2022 unless we want to do a Sunday. Now battling with whether I want to do a Sunday wedding or not...

We got engaged in mid October 2020 and I didn’t start planning til the first week of January 2021. We are getting married 7/22/22. I have pretty much everything hooked because my venue, Sunset Ranch, in Oahu offers a wedding package so I booked the higher end one that comes with in-house planning and day-if coordination. So music/DJ, rentals, florist, catering, etc is all booked. I honestly thought that maybe I started planning too early but it looks like so many weddings will be happening in 2022!
I also deposited floral preservation for my bridal bouquet. Check out the Instagram, designs.by.Andrea. Her work is so beautiful. It’s pricey as I have found other pressed floral companies but her work is consistently beautiful. She only takes about 15 bouquets per week and prices go up every quarter so if that’s something you’re interested in, book now! She’s super responsive via DM on Insta. but if it’s more than who would like to spend, ThreeWrenFloralPreservation does beautiful work too. And she’s a hell of a lot cheaper.
I recommended it to my friend who’s going to elope but she likes the resin art better. If that’s more your style, check out Soil & Soul or Rejoice & Blossom. Preserving your flowers with that resin style is also a lot cheaper. Hope this helps brides 🤍

My 2022 wedding is pretty much fully planned. Just have to figure out dress and menswear. Then we'll have to pay the rest of our costs next spring. I'm in MI and we're getting married in FL in June 2022.

10/1/22 here! I'm an early bird so I have most of my vendors already booked. Venue, catering hair makeup photography dj plus day of coordinator. I wanted to get ahead since so many great vendors are booking soooo far out due to covid reschedules.
