I'm 21 days out from my wedding, and although I'm okay with not losing any weight (my dress actually looks pretty darn great on this plus-sized body of mine), I'm actually REALLY UPSET about my arms. I'm 21 days out from my wedding, and although I'm okay with not losing any weight (my dress actually looks pretty darn great on this plus-sized body of mine), I'm actually REALLY UPSET about my arms. I've had every intention to work on toning up my arms since my dress is strapless and my arms are probably my biggest insecurity, but with working 45+ hours a week in a really stressful job, taking college classes 10 hours a week, dealing with all sorts of unexpected obstacles (ex. car accidents, health issues, etc.), and of course wedding planning, I've not only had very little time to work out, but I'm just quite literally drained and exhausted every day, it takes all I have to change out of my work clothes, let alone go work out.

I'm now freaking out because I already know I'm going to hate all of our wedding photos because of my stupid arms (I hated 85% of our engagement photos for that very reason) and I know I'm going to be super self-conscious about them all day, regardless of how excited I am for the wedding itself.

Does anyone have any tips to tone up arms in 3 weeks that doesn't take more than 20 minutes a day? (That sounds ridiculous, I know, but it doesn't hurt to ask haha). Or at the very least, tips on how to retrain my brain to be okay with my big arms? (Also ridiculous lol, but can't hurt to ask). Thanks!

I would also reach out to your photographer and ask if they’re able to possibly photoshop your arms to look just a little bit slimmer because you don’t want to hate your photos! Although everyone thinks I look great the way I am all I see are my arms in pictures and how thick they look compared to the rest of me and my photographer said no problem I can totally make them look a little slimmer (obviously wants it to look natural and not super skinny and weird looking which I really appreciated!). Just a last ditch idea!

You can get some wrist weights and wear them constantly, moving up the weight from 1-2 lbs to 4 lbs over the few weeks wearing them 3 days on and 1 day off. I don't know how much results you will see in three weeks but you should feel stronger.
