24 hour countdown!

The day before our wedding the ladies and I went and had our nails done, while H and the guys dropped off supplies (including attire) at the venue. Then we gave the bridal party their gifts and went to lunch. In the afternoon we relaxed for a bit and then on the way to the rehearsal we picked up the trays we had ordered for in the getting ready areas the next day. We rehearsed, went to the dinner, and afterward went to a bar for a couple drinks, then went our separate ways until the wedding.

I, too, was anxious the day before - the thing is, that in the end all of those things that you worry about going wrong don't tend to matter in the end. Almost everyone has some kind of glitch, but if at the end of tomorrow you're married to the love of your life, then everything went the way it was supposed to.

The only things I did the day before my wedding was help my stepmom prep our brunch for the morning of the wedding. Then we had a few errands to run - we had to get a last minute gift for his grandparents (our basement flooded a couple days before that and they helped us get it cleaned up before my family arrived from out of state), we needed to get the backdrop from a vendor, and check into the hotel, then we had to arrive to rehearsal about 45 min early to unload all our decor and go over the placement with our coordinator. My only advice is to try not to sweat the little details. The most important thing is you're marrying the love of your life. Just don't forget the marriage license lol

How exciting! Congrats to you! There will always be things that don't get done, try not to stress about it. At this point I d try to let go of some of it delegate tasks for things that must be completed and try your best to enjoy the moment. A little pampering and self care is definitely a must. Have the absolute best time, it will never be perfect but it will be beautiful and special

View Quoted Comment Yeah we just found out that one of the groomsmen that is flying in had his bag checked and when he got it back his tie was gone and no one knows where it is 😅 so now people are scrambling around to different Macy’s in different states to look for one
