3.5- 4 finger

Jean, on January 21, 2019 at 3:46 AM Posted in Community Conversations 0 20
Hello, I was wondering what size center would look good on a 3.75 finger. I was leaning towards 0.5-0.7ct. Any pictures with the equivalent size would be very helpful, thanks!

I would recommend going to a jewelry store to try rings on to see what works the best. I wear a size 7.5 ring but have super short fingers so I love my .67 ct ring

The only way to really know it to go to a jewelry store and try some on. With that being said, I’m a 4.5 and I love my 1.5ct ring.

I have skinny fingers (size 4) but they are very long. (Piano player fingers as my mother started calling them when she made me take lessons!)

My center stone is 1.6ct and I think it’s amazing. You could definitely go smaller though.

I agree with many people above! Your best bet is to go to a jewelry store to see what you think looks the best! This will be a great way to determine what you want!

It depends on what look you like so definitely go try some on. I wear a 4 and thought I was set on getting a 1ct until I tried it on and thought my tiny hand looked like a little girl playing dress up or something. I hated it. I went with .5ct.

I am a size 4.75, mine is .8ct but is an oval so it has a more slim shape than some stones.

Definitely go and try different cuts/carats/settings on! I wear a 4.25 and my center diamond is a 1.82 ct cushion cut in a solitaire setting. Halo settings will make the diamond look larger than it is, because that’s what they’re designed to do. I think that square/cushion cut diamonds tend to look larger than round ones, so keep that in mind too. There is more to it than deciding on a carat size, and you’ll have a better idea of what you want once you try things on.

I would go try them on. I have a size 4.5 finger and a 1.3 size carat center diamond.

I wear a 4.5, and my .74 is perfect! it looks larger because of the smaller stones around it, and it doesnt look odd on my small fingers!

Im a 4.5 and my center is 1.23 carat. I felt that the size of the band really made a difference. I tried rings on with wider bands and they didn't look good with my skinny fingers. When designing my ring my fiance asked the jeweler to make the band as thin as possible. The band is 3mm and is the smallest the jeweler would make it without compromising the durability of the ring.

I’m between a 3.75 and a 4 and my .75 carat is perfect for me. I work in a laboratory and am constantly wearing gloves, so I didn’t want anything ridiculously sized because then they’d rip. There’s 6 smaller diamonds on each side of my center stone with a woven filigree band that I love. Try things on though!

I am also a size 3.5. Based on charts, my rose cut diamond looks to be a .75-1 ct.
