I hope your day went well! For what it's worth now, my husband and I had a wedding on June 4 - the Catholic wedding we didn't have 38 years ago when we were first married. It was a small affair: a ceremony of vows and (our original) rings during a regular Sunday morning choir (I'm a member) Mass, flowers, photos, champagne, cake, a wedding dinner at an elegant restaurant, with our 36 year old son as Best Man, my dearest best friend as MOH, and our grandchildren participating in the Mass. We even went on a 3 day honeymoon! (We never got to have one 38 years ago, we got a house and a baby.) And, I had "wedding jitters". All the planning went well, few minor last minute hiccups but everything was perfect, even the weather. And I still had jitters! I hope your special day was worth a few rampaging emotions! I had all that so that my MOH had to make me laugh and offered to carry smelling salts!
