Alrighty guys, we are getting married in 82 days. (EEEEEEP!) We are starting to think about our honeymoon. We only have about 4 days to use, so it'll be a quicky until we get more time off.

We are stuck between 3 locations: Colorado, Washington or Arizona. We're open to other suggestions. We're mainly looking to try new food, and go hiking or other outdoorsy stuff. (We are originally from Florida, if that helps!Smiley heart) Oh, and the honeymoon will be in Mid March.

Normally I’d say Colorado but it can be chilly in March so I’d go with Arizona! I’ve been to Colorado in March and was there for a week... some days it was lovely, some days it snowed lol. It’s really such a gamble that time of year.

I loved the cabins. Great outside nature options but luxury options indoors. I am trying to get my guy to go with some friends one weekend.

I'll throw another option into the mix: Fredericksburg, TX!! So many romantic Airbnbs in the cutest town. If you like to hike, enchanted rock is a short drive away. Fredericksburg also has over 50 wineries to visit. It's located in the hill country and is absolutely stunning!

Fredericksburg, TX is the perfect romantic getaway for a quick trip! It's a little German town not too far from Austin and San Antonio. Fredericksburg has the second most wineries in the country, next to Napa Valley, so it attracts people from all over. It's known for its small town charm and has so. many. cute cottage options! I linked a couple really pretty ones below. https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/35742133?adults=1&source_impression_id=p3_1577388365_PJmDxjgGOcnnRupB

As far as wineries: you can do a wine tour with a bus that will take you to a few different stops or you can explore yourself. With over 50 different options, you won't run out of wineries to try. I'll link my favorites belowSmiley smile They also have Villas to stay in at this one.

Enchanted rock is a pink granite mountain (it looks like a huge rock). There are caves within it and you can spend the afternoon hiking/exploring and then watch the sunset (there is NOTHING like a hill country sunset) and stargaze (because it's in the middle of nowhere the night sky is gorgeous on a clear night).

Main street is another good option for stuff to do. It's a long strip of one of a kind shops. You can find some really great stuff but window shopping is even super entertaining. There is a city ordinance that allows open containers while you browse. Some stores even offer free beer. On Main Street you can find restaurants (Hondo's on Main is literally delicious and has amazing margaritas) and anything from a salsa/dip store to a clothing or antique store. If you like coffee Java Ranch is the GREATEST.

If you have any questions, let me know! I was fortunate enough to grow up there and go back to play "tourist" every so oftenSmiley smile

Taylor, this was simply inspirational. I love this so much! Thank you for taking the time to put this together for me, this was so wonderful! I even told my FH I would make "sample vacation packages" for us to look at before we make our decision, and this exact thing is what I was looking to make. Your insider tips are priceless though. Thank you so much!

Of course! I'm happy to share my own little piece of heaven with the world. Even if you don't decide to go for your honeymoon, it would make a wonderful anniversary trip a few years down the road. Good luck on your huntSmiley smile

If you want something cold and totally off the beaten path, what about getting an air bnb in Michigan's Upper Peninsula? There's nothing but nature up there, and some of those places are right on the water.
