Hey everyone.
My fiance and I have set our ceremony time for 3 pm on our wedding day. Does anyone have a timeline they could help me with?

    We got married at 3 p.m. This was our timeline:
    9 a.m. Begin getting ready in the bridal suite
    12:30 p.m. photographer arrives to take detail shots and getting ready pics
    1-1:30 p.m. First Look pics
    1:30-2:45 p.m Wedding party and VIPs pics
    2:45 p.m. drive to church
    3-4 p.m. ceremony
    4-4:15 p.m. group photo with guests
    4:15-5 p.m. Wedding party and VIPs pics as guests left for cocktail hour
    4:15-5:45 p.m. cocktail hour (ours was 90 minutes)
    5:45 p.m. dinner announced
    6-7:30 p.m. plated dinner served
    6:05 p.m. Bride gives welcome toast thanking everyone for coming
    7:30 p.m. bridesmaid gives toast on behalf of the wedding party
    7:45 p.m. Cake cutting
    7:55 p.m. First Dance (after about 30 seconds into it we had the bandleader invite everyone to join us)
    8 p.m. Dance floor open, photo booth open
    8:30 p.m. Cake served
    9 p.m. Smores around fire pit
    10 p.m. Late night snack of grilled cheese sandwiches
    11 p.m. Last dance, end of reception

    Ours is at 3, this is the gist of our timeline:

    9am rehearsals
    10:00am getting ready
    12:30 photographer arrives
    1:30 bride/bridal party photos
    2:00 groom and groomsmen photos
    2:30 bride family photos
    2:45 “no look” bride and groom
    3-3:30 ceremony
    3:45-4:45 family photos, cocktail hour, bride/groom photos
    5:00 seared for dinner and grand entrances
    5-6:30 dinner
    6:30 toasts
    6:45 cake cutting
    7:00 special dances
    7:15 open dance floor
    8:00 anniversary dance
    8:15 bride groom sneak away for outside photos
    8:30ish photog leaves, shuttle shows up for guests
    9:30 last call
    9:45 last song
    9:50 exit
    10:30 last guest shuttle departs

    Hey Megan. Thank you so much! This helps get a good timeline. We will be wrapping up around 8:30 to 9 pm due to the park we are getting married at. But this gives us an idea.
