Dedicated December 2020

30 Days!

Chelsea, on November 5, 2020 at 11:58 PM Posted in Planning 1 25
We hit 1 month away from our I do's today (12/5). We are getting super excited and are hoping and praying things work out!

How are my fellow December brides feeling?!? How is planning coming? Are you pumped?!
We are all planned out and just paying vendors currently and making final arrangements. I have a coordinator who has been a huge help through all of this! We are in Texas and currently policy is 1/2 capacity for venues. We invited 150 and have 82 people currently RSVP'd (our venue can hold 200). We hope not too many drop out before then. We are spreading out, having mask, and have an indoor and outdoor setting. Fingers crossed!

Congrats to you guys, we are in CA and currently only allowed 15 max guests at our ceremony due to covid. I'm excited you guys get to have a big weddding in texas. I am not even sure all our guests are coming we are actually have an outside ceremony on a mountain above a lake and it is big possibility it will be snowing. We have everything set just paying the remaining balance for our different vendors. I am feeling so nervous excited and scared as it gets closure.

Fellow December here! Can’t wait for Dec. 5th
I’m only worried about the cold and if I will be able to take pictures outside. Nevada increased limit from 50 to 250 but I haven’t invited any more people to the ceremony because things might change. We are doing the reception next year.

We are getting close! I'm in New Hampshire but getting married in Vermont and the border rules are changing daily so that's not fun! But holding out hope for our 23 person wedding to still happen 😊

Hi there! I'm also getting married on 12/05/2020! We are both so excited and so nervous at the same time. We're down to the small details now such as finalizing the playlist, getting the marriage license, and finalizing the sweets for our dessert table. We're in California and are also taking proper precautions for protection against COVID. Total guest count is at 48, so it'll make it easier to social distance. Congratulations, Chelsea! I hope you have a memorable day.

We just made the decision to cancel the in-person portion of our wedding due to new restrictions in our city. We will be exchanging vows with just our officiant and witnesses and streaming it online for everyone else. We are hoping to still have our reception in May 2021.

We go in the 23rd to get ours! We had to schedule an appointment with our county clerk to get it because of the COVID restrictions in our county.

We're a 12/5 couple as well, we're in CA. We customized masks and hand sanitizers to ensure safety. We postponed our big ceremony for next year, and decided to do a smaller wedding at my brother's house. We'll have 45 ppl at this event. We got our marriage license earlier this month, we're trying to workout our timeline and music. No wedding planner, so I'm just trying to navigate with the help of my vendors lol. The nerves have been setting in this week.

I’m getting married Dec. 5 also! 🥰 We had originally planned for a Belize wedding! 😌 But like everyone else trying to get married in this crazy time...things changed. Now we’re getting married in Idaho. We planned on 250 guests but now Idaho is back to stage 3 😌🤷‍♀️ When people ask me about my wedding I say well we’re planning on this but we really won’t know for sure till the wedding day. 😂 But we are trying to take the precautions necessary.

Hey there! December 5, 2020 wedding here too. I’m feeling all kinds of emotions seeing as though we have had a 130 people wedding planned for a year now and just got informed last night that our Governor just announced that we are only to gather in groups of 25 or less. I feel shattered knowing that the day won’t be everything I dreamed. My family has encouraged me to postpone to a later date to celebrate and have a small wedding now. I don’t even know how to go about it. I feel totally lost, overwhelmed and totally bummed out.

Same here, I had 75 guests and 10 people working to get the bomb of only having 25 now, we decided to still get married with our wedding party and immediate family. I will marry my best friend no matter what, love will prevail
