$3,000 Honeymoon?

Look into Punta Cana all inclusive resorts in the Dominican Republic. It is very affordable and should be in your price range.

3k is totally doable. Look into all inclusive resorts that induce meals, drinks and activities. That will save you a ton!

We went on a cruise we went for 9 days and it was a little over 3 grand but for shorter cruises its a lot cheaper. The food was great!

I went to DR and stayed at an all-inclusive and never got sick. IF you leave the resort and eat street food/drink tap you run the risk of getting Travelers sickness. Resort food is normally safe tho.

We went to Grand Palladium Jamaica for under $3k for a week, including airfare and transportation to airport.

Check out Groupon trips. They have all inclusive trips for really affordable prices, especially to beachy areas!

To everyone suggesting a cruise: do ya'll think it's worth it to get a room with a window, if we were to go to the Caribbean?

I went on a trip to Punta Cana after I graduated college, and it was amazing. Very affordable. I paid just over $1100 for five days at the all-inclusive resort. That also included my place ticket.

FH and I just booked our honeymoon today for Punta Cana after speaking to people who went through bookit.com, for 7 nights, travel insurance, airfare and transportation it came to $2000. We spoke to a bunch of people who went to the resort that we want to go to and they loved it, and we really wanted to go out of the country for under $3000!

Look at groupon and living social. They have great deals on many places. WHen you look- look at all inclusive, so you don't have to worry about food and drinks. Cruising is also a great way to have a worry-free honeymoon. That's what we are doing.

If you do a cruise, I personally don’t think window rooms are worth it because I never spend time in the room. MAYBE a balcony cause those are cool, but the tiny little windows are pointless.

You can go wherever you like. Use apps like Hopper and Travel Pirates to give you updates on deals. I use them all the time. My trip last month was to Japan for two weeks for less than $1,500. It can be done. We're going to Thailand for our honeymoon for less than $3,000.
