CranD I think I did see that one. It's basically why I want to smack most of those brides in the head and why I question humanity. I'm not mad at them for being rich, I'm mad they have that kind of money and spend it foolishly.

I wouldn't even spend $300 on that dress AND it is definitely not age appropriate.

I don't think I have ever saw a Pnina that I thought was pretty and sure as heck haven't seen one that I thought was worth the money. For some reason I find her embellishments to look cheap.

WTF? Could have bought *actual* designer dresses for that amount. Not a prom dress that costs $20 on Macy's clearance rack. I wonder if they actually bought them or if it was staged.

I know one time I was watching it and a woman and her two children (I think around 8 and 3) - so three dresses totaled - equaled $250,000. Like, you could have spent $100,000 and gave the other $150,000 to several charities.

I haven't seen that dress but I saw an episode where this women bought five dresses from klienfelds. The total was 90,000. She bought dresses for her three little girls. One was an infant! And he mother. All custom to look like her dress. I almost cried haha

I saw that episode! And there are more where people are millionaires and have NO BUDGET. I have Four Weddings and Say Yes to the Dress on DVR. It's amazing how some wealthy people spend money. On the other hand, I have learned some great ideas for people in my budget.

I was watching this too. I was like...each of these dresses cost more than my entire wedding. That one girl's dress order is more expensive than some HOUSES. I just don't understand people.

I wonder what it is like to have so much money that you could spend $30000 on a dress. That is a down payment on a home!

You know I'm someone who really loves designer (not that I can afford to buy designer) but I generally see the value that their clothing has, but in this case I do not see how that dress is work $30K. If this were the dress then I would definitely say - yup that seems about right.

I had a hard time believing this Elie Saab dress was $9500.... But $30k on a MOB DRESS!?!? Jeez, wish I had that kind of money just lying around...

So she was the daughter of an Angolan Cabinet member. First off, I totally agree that the dress doesn't appear to be that special and that the money that the brides family spent seems obscene.

However, to play devils advocate for a moment. If I had a 10+ figure income, I can almost guarantee you I would have spent more than the $500 dollars that I did spend on my wedding dress. And I can sit here and judge, but somewhere, someone who lives more frugally than I do may have found a beautiful $100 wedding dress, and they are judging me for spending frivolously.
