$30,000 dress...

The things is that they where the dress one time for a few hours and then discard them like trash. Like the MrsBest2B said, they could feed a lot of people with that money. I got my dress on sale for $600.00 and I was hesitant. Really it's just one day

Personally I'm not questioning why someone would spend that type of money on a dress, I mean if I were a million X amount of times over then spending $30K on a dress would be equivalent to me spending $250 on a dress now. That dress doesn't look like it's worth the price tag is all.

I could have fed a lot of people and done a lot for my community with the money for my $500 dress and 5K wedding budget as well. Not trying to be argumentative, just presenting another viewpoint.

Well that's awesome that she has that much money for a dress. Too bad it's also ugly and looks like something a teenager would wear to prom. Sorry I'm going to sideeye anyone that spends that much money on a dress when they're not even the bride.

Why did she need 9 dresses???? Is she having one of those wedding weekends, where there are events all 3 days? Even then, that's 3 dresses a day. I cannot even begin to fathom how she (the designer) can justify a 30k for that dress. Did she hand sew it herself, underwater while giving natural birth to twins or some shit?

Maggie's dresses are prettier than Pnina's, and she's more of an "every bride" designer. Did they show the dress after they added all the beading?

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who hates Pnina. All the dresses look the same - overdone and slutty.

But it was a total surprise and completely unexpected that Pnina is in the store!!

(Sorry, probably not for this episode, but every time anybody tries on one of her dresses, she comes out behind the curtain. I guess the dresses have to be so expensive, so she can afford her face lifts.)

I've seen that episode,. the reason the dress was so much is because it was going to be covered top to bottom with swarovski crystals. You don't see that in the photo because that part had not been done yet and was going to be sewn by hand after the fitting. (that's why they paid so much). Also the 9 dresses included the bridesmaids dresses. I think the bride herself had 2 or three, the rest was MOB and bridesmaids dresses. All custom designed with a lot of crystals. That's why the big price tag

I don't care how much money you have, $200,000 is ridiculous. I understand what you're saying lakegirl, $200k is chump change....but it shouldn't be.

If I bought a dress that was 30,00 dollars it would have to look like the thing just came off a runway. I was struggling with the idea of paying 1600 for a dress I loved when a dress I liked equally as much was 600.
