$400 for invitations?! O_o

lvnlife, on August 22, 2016 at 12:43 PM Posted in Planning 0 77

Hello everyone, how much are you all spending on invitations? Is $400 reasonable if it includes pre-printed envelopes?

That seems pretty cheap to me.

Mine was $500 for the STD, Invite and RSVP card, she addressed them all as well. But this was only for 35 sets.

Yikes! Depends on your budget. I only spent $95 on 100 invitations, RSVP postcard, and envelopes. Bought the PDF off etsy and took it to a local printing company.

You could probably get them for less than $100 on vistaprint. No offense to anyone, I know invitations are important to some people, but I can't justify spending that much on paper. Especially when I know guests will eventually throw them away.

ETA: I spent like $20 on 10 invitations.

It seems like alot but it depends on where you are ordering them from.

ETA: just saw your using Minted. Someone just posted about a 15% coupon code today. That should help a little bit at least

I paid less than $300 for 150 complete invites. This included the invitation, an envelope for that and the RSVP with the return preprinted envelope. Check Vista Print

For my budget, that is pricey - but that's my budget, it's a personal thing.

Mine will be $150 for 50, includes : invites, addressed rsvps, and individual guest addressing for outer envelopes. Really depends on your budget and style choice. Some options cost a lot more than others. But over $7 an invite/rsvp set seems a lot to me!

I spent $60 total on invites on VistaPrint. (not including postage) Online RSVP so no response cards or inserts.

That was with upgraded paper during their 50% off sale. I ordered 100.

Go to Walmart/target or party city. Buy the cards you find appealing, and create a PDF of the invitation & how you want it to look. And then you can try going to an office depot or max where they have a Copy & Print Department. They can print them for you, I just printed off 50 for $6.

What you spend is completely up to you. Personally, I wouldn't want to spend that much.

I spent about $100 for 150 invitations through VistaPrint.

We're expecting to pay about $400 for 55 invitations, including RSVP cards, direction cards, stamps, etc. But we are super obsessed with quality.

84 invites. Printing, cutting and using their paper for the invites, RSVP and info card was a total of $25.00. Then I was $24 for both size envelopes. $10 for ribbon.
