Would you consider 50 people for the ceremony and reception a good number? Intimate? Thoughts?

I had 50 guests and barely had any time to mingle or say hi to everyone. I consider 50 small to medium size wedding not intimate

For some families, 50 is small and for others, it’s large. There is no one size fits all answer. Pick your absolute must have people only and send announcements afterwards to everyone else. We tried to keep it under 50 guests but that meant that significant others of super important people would not be invited and that is impolite so the number got larger than we hoped
