5,000 budget on wedding

Okay I really need help if anybody knows any cheap venues I don't want to get carried away ! I know nothing about this the wedding is in two years everything is so expensive ?? I don't think we can do it I can't find any diy catering halls or venues bc that would help me a lot if I could bring food...

I don't think we can do it I can't find any diy catering halls or venues bc that would help me a lot if I could bring food bc everyone in my family cooks that is the main problem food then also maybe it's me the date is July 20 2019 a Saturday I hear the prices are more but if I move it I Sunday some people will complain about missing church my gosh I'm catching serious anxiety I know your supposed to hire someone to do this for you but why when I am capable of looking into things myself do if there's anybody who knows good places feel free to reach out

    I just think this behavior is rude. Literally- if I'm coming to your house at dinner time- offer me fucking dinner. I actually agree with JessieJV here. If you can't say thank you to your guests you have no purpose having them there

    5,000 is a very low budget for Long Island but I do think it MIGHT be doable (especially if you can save a little bit more). Not sure where you are on the island but I suggest this hall http://www.northshorebeach.org/clubhouse ...I have been there for sweet 16s and fundraising events and it really can look very nice and the rental fee is cheap, you can bring in your own alcohol, and bring in your own caterer (I suggest Uncle Guiseppe's in Port Jeff, great Italian food for a great price). Just go with the absolute basics for things like DJ and Photographer!

    Don't have family cook. You can get cheap catered food. Or elope.
