50/50 Tickets!?

Hey ladies! My Dad and Step-mom think that we should sell 50/50 tickets at our wedding because one they're going to this weekend is doing it. When I mentioned it to my Mom she says that my Auntie also suggested it! Is it just me or does it seem kinda tacky?

    Pass. Heck..we're not even including registry information given our situation (is that actually rude?). We're both older and are set in pretty much everything. We just want our guests to attend and have a good time at the reception Smiley smile. We're probably on the side of exception, no doubt.

    I see a lot of your sides and understand your opinion but it is like a fun game. Plus it would help the bride and groom who are hurting for money. Not everyone has to participate.
    If you are hurting for money, what are other ways that arent....i guess rude, for asking for help with money?
