I would definitely recommend booking your photographer asap. Same with cake and florist.

We get married the day after you. we're currently working on nailing down bridesmaid dresses and finding invitations. we just finalized our dj last night (phew!). i would try and tackle your photographer/videographer soon. i know the ones around us are booking fast.

I'm only a couple weeks after you, and I'm so excited! The only vendor I haven't booked is for my cake, but we have a tasting right after Mother's Day! I have my dress, and the girls will be ordering theirs around the end of May.

I think it depends on where you're located/where your wedding is located, but I agree with @Buffee about finding your photographer soon, as well as a florist and a DJ. I put finding vendors as top priority because the best ones book up early.

Definitely book your photog and videographer ASAP. Happy to pass along some recommendations Are you using flowers? Start researching florists (I think there are only about 2 in KW so that should help, lol) and / or rental companies. GL!

Im trying to narrow down photo/video now. I was hoping to find someone who offers package deals in the hope of saving some monies. One videographer I spoke to was over $1800, which is just out of my budget. Did you like your florist Lizz?? Who did you use? Mama's? What did you use rental companies for?

Totally freaking out!!!! Every weekend Im like " We have to do something for the wedding" ! LOL Plus Im adding up everything we have to pay in 6 monthes... ouch!!

When it comes to the photographer.. I found that If I did an All a Cart it was cheaper. Some of the packages had more than I wanted and were more expensive. I totally agree to book them now because they fill up fast.

Your DJ/Entertainment should also be at the top of the list. Most of the good ones will be booked already.

As a photographer, I would suggest you start looking soon but a November wedding is just out of season and finding someone you definitely like should give you more time than a September or October wedding. There are a lot of choices of good photographers on Weddingwire and if just want to talk, I can give you a suggestion or 2. I hope you don't mind my comment, the instructions on top say vendor comments are allowed.

@Michael, she is actually getting married in Key West, and November is their wedding season.

Our videographer (CineaVerde) had a package with Studio Julie... but he also had some options that were a lot less $$. SoundWave events called me about a month or 2 before our wedding and had some DJ's open, so I would check with them. For photogs, I'm biased to ours because I love her dearly, but if you do a vendor search on WW you will find a bunch.
