I am having a hard time figuring out centerpieces for my wedding. I have to come up with something to decorate around 75 tables. My family and soon to be family has been amazing with helping pay for everything but I don't want to spend that much on centerpieces because it is not that important to me...

Any suggestions or ideas?

@msmay m wow that's crazy!!!!! I think things are pretty cheap in my town compared. My food is a great local Italian place and they are only charging us $10 a plate. The hall was only 1,000 and we are getting alcohol at cost. I also don't have to rent very much at all because the hall has everything. Those are some of the bigger expenses we planned on but I think larger towns just charge more for everything and I am going fairly simple with things so far.

You can do this! I grew up in a village on an island in Greece and it is tradition to invite the entire island. 400+ guests. You could use tulle, candles baby's breath just shop smart. Also, cool thing about marrying into large families is that there are a lot of eager hands to help the bride!

I thought my 300 guest wedding was a lot but man you make mine look like a walk in the park. I would alternate between floating glass votives in a tall cylindrical case, little fairy lights in vases, or even baby breath bouquets.

This is similar to what I did. You can easily have sprigs of eucalyptus going down the center of the table instead of around the candles. Each of my tables was around $30 and the florist set up everything. Luckily I could rent all of the candles from the florist so I didn't have to worry about buying anything.

Speak to the professionals for sure! If these size is an common as you think then then local vendors should be able to help you out.

Side note I'm marrying into an Italian family and we're only inviting 50 people so this seems mad to me!

Have you checked out Pinterest for ideas? My venue has the wood farm tables 8' and 10' so that's where I'm looking.

I don't even like that many people lol, and quite frankly, I would need a week to go up to 75 tables to thank them for coming.

600 Italians in one room with food and drink? I want to come! Please?????? How much fun will that be? Heck, if I was in your town, I'd help set up.

You're going to MAKE 75 centerpieces? And transport them? And set them up?

I'm seriously Italian but there is no way on this plant that I would even consider 600 guests. You realize you won't even have time to say hello to most of them, right?

Celia, if you're Italian, you know you can do it.

It takes organization, stamina and a bit of vino is all Smiley smile

Where have you been? (If you can say).
