8 days till "i Do" and i want to scream and cry

Hcook, on May 13, 2021 at 6:51 PM Posted in Planning 0 5

We are 8 days out and I'm going to scream. Our original list was 236 people, then we had to cut it got it down to a positive 135 that were coming, now as of today we are down to 100, and still unsure if that will be the final count. I also have so much to do. And the fiancé and me are not really seeing eye to eye because I didn't want to wait till last minute and now he is like we need to do this this and this. And I'm like screaming and ready to cry. Also, my dress will not be ready to pick up till May 21 after 4pm.

I’m so sorry your so stressed...and I’m going to say “Breath”.. I am 5 weeks out and was freaking out about sooo much, now I’m just like it is what it is. I’m going to enjoy my day and be done with it. Believe me in the end you’ll probably appreciate the smaller guest list and the day will be magical. Good Luck Hun.. Can’t wait to see pictures.

I ditto in the ‘breathe’. Have you and fiancé done anything not wedding related recently? Like axe throwing? Laser tag? Go to a sporting event? And don’t talk about the wedding. Make time for that relationship the wedding is meant to celebrate.
Then, the next day or at least after a few hours, just talk. It’s going to be an amazing day!! Facing it together starts with elbow work and is so worth it

My wedding part two is 9 days out! I feel your stress girl! I have a very uncooperative bridesmaid, and after making the final payment at least four people are no longer coming. Just try to breathe and try to have an "it is what is is" mindset. Somethings we cannot control. I try to have an hour or two a day to focus on last minute things, then I go about my day. It is going to be amazing girl! (:

Deep breaths Hcook! You can do this!! 🌟

I'd try to dig deep and have you and your fiancé bust out all the planning you can do this weekend to get the bulk of it behind you! Then just focus on checklists (for mental sanity) and stress relievers!! ❤️

It’s going to be ok like PP have said. I’m staying positive and optimistic at the same time with the “it is what it is” mentality as well. We are getting married on Friday; so far we are ok on things but things that happen that we can’t control we will push forward and it will still be great. Breathe and congratulations
