8/6/22 Date twins?

8/6/22 bride here!!

We have already done the bulk of the planning (caterer, tent/tables/chairs, linens, silverware rentals, music, venue, cake, flowers, all attire, photographer are all done). And now I'm in a bit of a lull waiting for things to draw closer so I can really start honing in on the details! I am taking a trip with one of my bridesmaids in about a month to buy under the dress essentials as well as shoes for myself (we don't have great shopping where I'm located). My dress just came in and my first fitting will be in early May, so I need to have shoes by then! Maid of honor is arriving in town at the beginning of July to help with all the last minute rush of details... We have various meetings with vendors over the next few months, but waiting is the hardest part for me right now!

Focusing now on floral arrangements for this month. Next month it will be my shoes, veil and hair accessory.

So far I’ve booked my venue and all of my vendors with the exception of rentals, purchased my dress and veil, and now I’m working on my cake design! I’ll say, the pressure of creating my own cake as a professional baker is huge. I’m also hand painting sweatshirts for my bridal party 😅
If anyone needs advice for making your own cake (or I guess fabric painting) let me know!

Eeek! Reading everyone else's messages makes me think I might end up having to push my date further out. Well it's good to know. Anyway, until I have the venue reserved I don't want to make any other arrangements.

Hi twins, I feel like Im a little behind in planning! So far I have my venue and ceremony booked and I found my dress. I will be sending out the Save the Dates in the next 2 weeks, not sure if that's too late in the game? Also when are you guys sending out invites?

I still need photographer, veil, shoes, cake design, florist for the ceremony, decoration designs, groomsmen and bridesmaid attire, and to finalize guest list. I've been stressing but hopefully I pick it up!

We've got most big things out of the way: venue, caterer, DJ, bartender, photographer, dress, cake. I need to get my husband-to-be to ask his groomsmen and figure out his attire. I also need to settle on bridesmaid dresses and get linens sorted. We sent out our save the dates a few weeks ago.

Phew. Planning a wedding is a lot.

Hi 8/6ers! Planning a wedding is a part-time job haha! We mailed our saves the dates over the weekend. Have our venue and photographer booked and working on the caterer (wood fired pizzas!). My bridesmaids and I have our dresses and my fiancé ordered his suit! Feeling like things are chugging along and I’m trying to focus on 1-3 things per week, otherwise it’s easy to get mired down in all the details. Best wishes to all the brides to be!
