8Ft Tables post Covid

Robyn, on June 14, 2020 at 6:25 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 1 6
The county we are getting married in is a go for our July 11 wedding. The ceremony and reception are both outdoors. We have ~100 people coming. Debating if we should reduce the number of people around an 8ft table from 4 on each side to just 3 on each side for extra space in the age of covid?? What do you think? Would there be too much empty space??

I don’t think there’s any such thing as too much empty space right now.

It definitely couldn't hurt to space people out a bit more than usual this summer. We were debating whether we should doing the same thing, we ended up deciding to put 6 people per table instead of 8.

Joining the chorus - if you have the space and the extra tables, I think spreading people out would be ideal.

That's what we are doing. We are setting our tables up in long lines. Even. Before covid we were doing 6 to an 8ft section just because I feel like 8 is way too crowded and uncomfortable.

If you can have less people at a table, the better!
