9 days out and so stressed- tell me funny wedding stories!

A few days before my wedding my mom was seeing if I got everything. I had a hydration station for my ceremony since it's outdoors. She was like do you have beverage dispensers? Yes mother. Do you have cups? Yes of course. Do you have napkins then? Aw shoot .. I FORGOT NAPKINS. I didn't want her to know she was right so I lied and said OF COURSE, MOM.. I MEAN.. HOW COULD I FORGET NAPKINS... Then I rushed away and called my husband to tell him OMG WE NEED NAPKINS ASAP. Ahah I didn't want to give her the satisfaction of being right!!!!

Hahaha thats funny! I'm stressing because we have to bring all our stuff with us (we live in FL getting married in TN) so this includes cups and napkins and everything. Guarantee you we will forget something and then have to rush while up there to get something!

We were going our wedding party photos before the ceremony in a park and of course, people were driving by and honking.
One bus driver honked and waved, then got on his loudspeaker to say congratulations to us. It was quite funny!
Also, the best man (my BIL who has a PhD in aerospace something or other) started his speech by saying "The groom gave me permission to read my thesis instead of a speech so, Table of contents...page 1..."
It got a good chuckle out of everybody!

Lol not a wedding story but the proposal story. I guess I was so excited when I turned around and saw him on one knee I forgot to say yes. Like how do you forget to say yes lol! I hugged him and kissed him and put the ring on my finger, but it wasn't until I was replaying what happened during dinner that I realized that I had totally forgot. I looked over and asked and he said "Well I was going to ask again in a couple days when things had settled down a bit". He isn't letting me live it down haha

Not directly wedding related... but sort of... and hilarious. My fiancée & are were driving my car yesterday and it was blowing out hot air! Mind you, it was 95 here yesterday so we desperately needed the AC. We leave for our wedding weekend tomorrow and are taking my SUV, so this morning I went to get the AC looked at... only to realize we didn’t have the AC turned on.... whiiiiiich is why it was blowing out hot air and not cold air 😂🤣😂 bahaha. I promise we are both intelligent people. Just currently overwhelmed and stressed since we are getting married this Saturday! 😬😬

My sister fell on her wedding day 😳
She was such a good sport and laughed about it ! Just a reminder things might go wrong, don't get hung up on it and enjoy the rest of it :-)

Our best man forgot his pants....

...idk maybe that sounds stressful and not funny but WE think it is hilarious. We had a backyard wedding at a family home, and had stayed there for a few days the week before the wedding, at which point, everyone hung up their wedding attire in the closets. The night before the wedding , we all transferred over to a hotel for a couple nights. I’m not sure exactly who did what , but the best man’s pants were brought to the hotel and hung in his room without him realizing it. He presumed they were still at the house where he’d left them . So day of the wedding he headed on over to the house I think in PJ sweats ready to suit up and....no clothes. Luckily we had shuttles leaving the hotel still and a call was put out and I guess a handful of guests went on a rescue mission to break into his room and get his clothes! All’s well that ends well! It ended in us getting the ceremony underway a bit later than planned, but— I was just happy it wasn’t *my* fault 🤣

1. When taking photos with the family, the best man held our boquetes while taking photos. Then he started posing with them!
2. The DJ accidentally started playing “Thriller” for the anniversary dance until I looked at him and was like, “wrong song!”
3. Our wedding guests used our fans and disposable cameras to pose with them with a voy face throughout the night
4. The priest, when we first came up the alter, asked me, “What do you think?” pointing at my (almost at the time) husband. I said, “He’s pretty dang cute!” Then he asked him, “What about you?” Husband said, “Amazing!” We both laughed, and then to the crowd, “Well I just introduced them, and they see to like what they see... so I guess we are going to have a wedding!”

Funny wedding planning story. I’ve been obsessing about finding the perfect wedding hashtag. My fiancé didn’t understand why I was making a big deal... until he saw a post saying it’s not legal marriage unless you have a clever hashtag. He freaked out and immediately thought that’s why I was so worried about it. I had to tell him it was a joke, but the 5 minutes of hashtag help was nice lol.

One of my cousins got married at a shooting range. We could all hear gunshots during the ceremony! They like the country life but I'm a city girl, so that kinda freaked me out!

I was the MOH and also great friends with the Best Man. We were known for being the goofy, impulsive friends but I was on my best behavior. We were posing for pictures and after 2, he dropped his knees and tackled me waist-high screaming. The bride almost peed her pants laughing and I beat him with my bouquet once I knew he was alright. 🤣

When I was little, like 5-ish, I was the flower girl at my aunts wedding. So I'm walking down the aisle and throwing petals, and I see that I missed a spot, so naturally I walk backwards and I step on the hem of my dress and I fall. I start crying, not because I was injured but because I thought I had ruined the wedding. My grandma had to come get me out of the aisle for the bride 😂

I had been waiting for the proposal, so when he did it as a surprise after I put something in the freezer and turned around and he was on one knee in the kitchen, he asked and I screamed "oh my god is this real!!" And I hugged him and took the ring and then as I'm hugging him he's all "is that a yes?" 😂
