a Beautiful Wedding Day!

Our special day went perfectly! Perfect weather - 65-70 degrees and mostly sunny! Everything went off on time. The Mass, ceremony, music and flowers were just beautiful! This was a Catholic convalidation after 38 years of marriage. Our Best Man son, his 2 beautiful children, and my dearest friend Matron of Honor and her hubby looked fabulous! The wedding dinner and the gorgeous cake were delicious! And, the wedding gift from MOH and hubby was beyond belief - a huge, beautifully framed Papal Blessing!! It is stunning!! I hope everyone getting married this weekend had a beautiful celebration!

Here you go, Pat! I'm not sure if you can see the pics I posted to this "thread". It was a truly wonderful day, start to finish! The wedding party: our son, and my best friend who is also the church organist/music & choir director. Our grandkids participated as well. Enjoy!

Thanks for your comments about my look - like every bride, I worried about it for the 8 months it took to plan, (I ordered and returned 4 pairs of shoes and 3 head pieces!!) and I'm very pleased with how I, and everyone else turned out! I hope your wedding day was as beautiful as you dreamed and that your 2 week European (nice!!) honeymoon was all that as well! Please feel free to share your photos too!
