I know this isn't exactly wedding related; but I've seen some different topics on here and this seems like a good place for gift ideas.
This girl and I have been exchanging birthday gifts for 16 years. I'm usually good at this but a lot of tragedy hit her family this week and I'm just at a loss. She's about to lose somebody very close. Something she's really never experienced and I am watching her just shut down. I know there's nothing I can give or say to her that makes it better...and I don't really know what I'm looking for...suddenly jewelry/body sprays just don't seem like enough.
