Dedicated October 2019

a bridal shower low budget

Cecy Rg, on August 3, 2019 at 3:34 AM Posted in Parties and Events 0 9
I want a bridal shower that can be special for my mom and for me, but the big thing is I do not want to spend a lot of money on it, and even restaurants have crazy prices, my house is not big enough another option is little venues. It seems like a question without answer but I just need advice on some money saving pre wedding events. Thank you brides

Is this your wedding or someone else’s? It can be frowned upon to throw your own shower since it is a even in which you ask for gifts.

Firefighters halls, VFW, Elks lodges, are all good places to explore. Oftentimes they only charge a few hundred dollars for a few hours. Keep it simple with pizza and punch or pasta.

See if the city/town you live in has community centers that they rent out. Or churches often have inexpensive meeting rooms

You shouldn’t be hosting or paying for your own shower in the first place. If someone else is throwing you a shower, let them plan it. They will find a venue that suits their budget.

Agreed with other posters, this isn’t your event to plan. Don’t worry about the costs, they’re not yours to pay. The host will figure it out, just give them your guest list and show up.

If you are looking for tips for your mom a local park could be nice. If you go to church.keep guest list small. Mine was only 6 people.

I agree. This isn't something for you to worry about. Let the hosts do the planning!

Lol before everyone tells her not to host her own shower...I think her mom is hosting the shower ( maybe helping her bridesmaids or maybe no bridesmaides?) I think she is just asking advice for her mom or she doesn't want her mom to spend a lot on the shower. Like maybe mom isn't sure where to host it or how to keep it on a low budget.
