A Star Wars Wedding

Ris Future Mrs. Logan, on March 23, 2012 at 4:24 PM Posted in Planning 0 21

So it went from Celtic to a Star Wars wedding. It'll be a Sith Lords and Jedi Knights. The guys are Siths, the ladies are Jedis. Simple easiest way is to purchase the costumes at roughly $40-$70 a costume. Colors: Black, Red, Brown, White/Cream. I still want to do glass vase centerpieces with candles and flowers....but I need some other ideas on what can be done, decor wise. I'm even thinking of making my own garter set. My hair will be simple and similar to Padme Amidala's.

    I LOVE that idea! Google "star wars wedding" and see the images and ideas that people have used. If I did that, I would have R2D2 from Sharper Image as my ring bearer!

    I love this idea, we are doing lego theme lol. I know someone who did a normal formal wedding with storm trooper ushers. these are great, they are a little pricey but a few would be cool. I love them.

    Ohhhh I love the candle!!!! Sadly, stormtroopers aren't in the budget... but it'd be really cool to have the ushers dressed up as them... and our ring bearer.

    Williams Sonoma has great Star Wars stuff for desserts and appetizers. Someone brought green yoda sugar cookies to my St. Patricks Day party and they were fantastic!

    Those are actually pancake molds but I know the sites that sell both the molds and the cookie cutters. Smiley smile I'm not so sure about the groom's cake though. o.O;

    I remember doing a "Star Wars" wedding before. The bride and groom were introduced to the imperial march from star wars. They walked in between the bridesmaids and groomsmens, all raising their lightsavers.

    Good luck!

    Ris, the Local 501st will usually do it (show up as storm troopers) for a small donation. Check them out!
