I am struggling trying to figure out how to not spend too much on invites but still have them be lovely. we have a dream one from minted but when you add rsvp cards and direction cards (for hotels/registry? or should we just put the wedding website and not use a direction card??) Anyone have advice...

Anyone have advice for me? I want it to look lovely so if we have to spend a lot we will. but I would really like to save on this portion of the wedding we have spent a bit too much for everything else.

Vistaprint is where I ordered mine from. For the invites, RSVP cards, personalized envelopes, and return labels I think I paid just over $120. Look out for sales because they have some really great ones (50-70% off sometimes!) near a holiday!

Idk How much time you have but Minted always has deals. We waited until there was an applicable promo code and then ordered them.

I got mine through Zazzle. They are beautiful and Zazzle often has 50% off specials on Invitations, RSVP cards, STDs, etc.

I've heard there are DIY kits that look very professional.

I did exactly as Grn suggested. I purchased our invites and RSVPS on sale and put our wedding website on the invite. I couldn't justify sending a detail card when most everyone uses GPS etc.

My mom made my invites with my help so I'm not really any help with ordering some but I did save a bunch of money doing it myself
