A Wedding With an $800 Budget!

Obviously context helps make decisions easier but each decision you make affects you somehow. If I had the context for each of the decisions I was going to make from now on I would make ones that allowed me and my love ones to live forever in a world of bliss, but that doesn't happen. When i was laid off I looked back to the choices I had been making and realized that I should have been looking for new jobs that whole time and that I should have been seeing the writing on the wall (so I made a lot of bad choices) and this extended by unemployment much longer than it needed to be.

Wow I haven't been on WW in a long time but this is the first post I have read and I must say some of these comments are lightweight ridiculous and uncalled for, guess I haven't been missing out on much smh. Congrats to youu Mrs G I wish I could have a $800 dollar wedding but I doubt I will be able to pull it off. I'm not afraid to admit that, although the wedding is only one day, how I invasion my wedding will ultimately cost me more than $800 but that is just me everyone's vision of " their day" is different. Don't get me wrong if I could do my wedding and have everything I ever wanted for $800 dollars I would shoot yeah i would so big up to you for doing your day your way in your budget. As far as all the negativity on here eh....it's a little disheartening but hey don't let it make you feel like your day wasn't beautiful or legit or everything that any other bride on this forum sees their day as being

Can a 800 be done yes... is it fancy no, is it sitll the best day of your life yes.

now my concern is that a 5000 wedding or even a 3 k you thought would invole debt. we are 25 with only my college debt but we are doing a 6k wedding and we will still have money left over from our saveings/ income. and no we by no means have great jobs.
