Accessorize the dress

Lynne, on March 7, 2022 at 9:54 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 3 11
This is my dress, yes it has bling on the top. I'm not quite sure what to wear to accessorize. The dress on the model has more poof, I am not sure which way looks best. My dress is scheduled to be ready for pick up at the end of the month.

The straps in the picture of me wearing the dress are actually my bra straps. I need to try it without the straps I think.

Opinions please.Accessorize the dress 1

Very beautiful dress Smiley love Love it! Yes, I think trying it with a strapless bra will give a better view to see how it will look day of. Are you going to wear a hoop skirt or a petticoat under it so it give more of a shape? And as far as accessorize, do you mean jewelry wise? Because I think a necklace like this would be very nice.

I feel less is more with all the embellishments on the top of the dress. Earrings yes but not a necklace.

I have earrings covered, they are blue. I don't know how much jewelry is too much. I don't know how much poof I want.

If I did go with a necklace it isn't very blingy, it's one that my great uncle made for me before he passed away.

I think wearing a necklace that is special to you is better then any jewelry you can find. So, I'd go with the one made by your great-uncle.

When you go in for your fitting make sure you have a strapless bra, have your shoe and really look at your dress to see what you want your final look to be. As far as poof but might just have to try on different sizes to see if you want one or not.

That makes all the difference, wearing something that is special to you means so much more. I am wearing a bracelet that was given to me when I lost my son. It doesnt go with the dress but I dont care it is a way I can have him with me on that day. Smiley smile

Same here about my necklace. It doesn't go with my dress.

Do you have a picture of the necklace - I think meaningful pieces are always a nice touch.

Bu t I agree- simple necklace and earring would be stunning!

I am going to need help accessorizing - hoping to get a good picture at my next fitting

My dress had a similar bodice, albeit with spaghetti straps. I wore a simple strand of pearls that had belonged to my mom (she passed away six years ago, so it was a way to have her close to me AND my something old). Then I wore rose gold earrings that I got from David's Bridal. I don't think they sell them anymore, or else I would post the link. To finish off, I wore a pearl bracelet on my right wrist.

Very unique pedant - i love it! I would see how you like it with your dress on and decide from there.

    It is a beautiful combo!
