I found a beautiful venue for my wedding that is on the outskirts of town. While the remote(ish) location lends to beautiful scenery it also unfortunately means there are no hotels nearby. The venue recommends a Springhill Suites Marriott that is about 25 minutes away and I booked a hotel block through them as an option for our guests. I also ended up finding an amazing cottage on Airbnb that is just down the street from my venue that my FH and I will stay in the night of the wedding. I want to make sure my guest know that there are other non-hotel options and I am trying to figure out how to word this on my wedding website. Have any of you done this? Do you have wording I can "borrow"? So far I am planning to list the hotel block first and then afterward was thinking of the following:
VRBO or Airbnb
Mt Woodson Castle is located approximately 25 minutes away from the closest hotel so another accommodation alternative would be locating a property on VRBO or Airbnb.
Then I would list the websites for each company. Does this sound ok or does someone else have a recommendation for something better? If it matters I am using Minted for my wedding website... Thanks everyone!!
