Acrylic Sand Ceremony Vases

Lauren, on December 15, 2015 at 10:12 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 3

I have a bride who is looking to do a sand ceremony on the beach, but glass is not allowed. We are having a terrible time finding one that is acrylic. So far the only one I've found is the piece pictured below which she is not interested in. Has anyone found a unity sand set that would work for her?

I use a heavy glass bottle that will not break if dropped on the sand.

Unfortunately we will be fined if we use any type of glass on our beach, they are starting to crack down hard.

I understand. I found a large chunk of glass on the beach while I was officiating on Saturday. Fortunately, the sun hit it just right and I saw it near where I would be standing for the ceremony.

Are you the planner or the officiant? If the couple is using just one color of sand, you could use 3 clear acrylic champagne flutes (or anything). Later, they can pour the blended sand into their own permanent container. But, if they're using 2 colors of sand, that won't work.
